We had found a restaurant on TripAdvisor that we wanted, but it being August, it was closed. So, we just went in off the street. As it turned out, LeCaveau was great. The first time we had fried zucchini flowers (the weakest dish of all...More

Came here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. It was hard for my significant other and I to find good food in Rome, much to our surprise. This restaurant surpassed all expectations. Food was incredible and service was excellent. The best...More

Went here as a family of four adults. Table easily found outside despite no booking made. Very friendly and relaxed service delivered with style and great humour. The food was delicious. All three courses were fantastic and the tiramisu was the best we've ever tasted!...More

Back from my trip, I am day dreaming about the wonderful food found at this local treasure. The service is wonderful, the people are kind, friendly and made us feel at home. The pasta, pizza, and tiramisu were out of this world. This was our...More

Service was amazing. Atmosphere was very nice. The boss personally came out to talk to us and made sure everything was good. The desserts were amazing. The only ~bad~ thing would be that the food wasn't quite to our taste as we are of Chinese...More

Ate here almost every night during a 4-night stay. Really good traditional pasta dishes, artichoke-based foods, which I personally love and fantastic pizzas, fruit dishes, desserts and mains. A wide variety of foods, choices for many diets including gluten-free foods although that selection is limited...More

Ate very well here, really nice location and great food. Tried the pizza, pasta and bruscetta all great. Tip, do not buy single glasses of wine, two glasses are as expensive as the full bottle

It was the best pizza in Rome we had tasted. After we had found this place we were coming back for 6 times during our trip. Very friendly staff.

This was the first place we have visited while we were in Rome. We have ordered pizza which was delicious how we like it. It wasn't cheap but it was worth the price. Staff was very kind and the service also good. Recommended place.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
