We ate here February 2017. We ordered 2 main courses but we persuaded by the waiter to have 2 starters also. Ok, perhaps our fault. But, it was simply moneymaking on his part. My starter cost more than my main course! So, although the food was reasonable, the experience of being sort of tricked was unpleasant. So, for that reason,... More

Very friendly restaurant in a lovely street just off Piazza Navone. Oven baked Sea Bream followed Caprese Salad and home baked focaccia pizza style. My second Aperol Spritz was stronger than the first. Perhaps they realised I really did like them. Quiet and authentic.

Hands down the best meal I had over my 6 day trip to Rome. The entire area (near Piazza Navona) is really lovely to wander around and we ended up choosing this place on a whim - and it was great! The atmosphere in the whole place was really great, it felt like an authentic family-run Italian restaurant and the... More

Great family run restaurant. Atmosphere was inviting and the food was fabulous. The mussel house special for the day was a feast and the pizzas top drawer. Will come back next time in Rome.

Nice venue, staff kindness, good pizza. But when prompted about an appetizer before the pizzas, waiter said: "what about a single one you can split?", so we said "Ok, thanks!" Now, two small artichokes, two zucchini's flowers and two eggplants cost up to 20 EURO, more than two pizzas. One appetizer 20 Euro?!?!?!?

What a Great way to start our European Vacation, the best staff, great location(just off Piazza Navona), great food & plenty of vino. Our 2 families were made most welcome & a most enjoyable night was had, our waitress was an amazing host & I would recommend to anyone to enjoy.

For travellers on a short break in central Rome look no further than Ponte e Parione for wonderful, authentic local cuisine, lunch or dinner. There's no point recommending specific dishes - they're all absolutely brilliant as well as affordable. Great wine list too. Just one regret - being unable to do justice to my second free grappa!
