Good tip from Hotel to try. Good Italian ambience with friendly waitresses who speak English. Food was good and quick. Had pizza and fresh asparagus pasta with vino rossa. Would recommend for quick lunch excursion.

Just came back from a great meal at Brancaleone. Our hotel had recommended it --- just an 8 minute walk away. Great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Lena made us feel very welcome and practised her English by going through the various specials. My better half ordered a bruschetta, a pear and honey salad and a potato and ham pizza... More

We popped on for dinner on a Sunday evening and very busy with locals and tourists. We had delicious antipasti and a salad to share and the homemade wine haughty recommended . No preservatives as we had a litre and not the remotest headache the next day! My husband had the chicken and I had the daily special of cannelloni... More

Been meaning to write this review for some time. Visited this lovely restaurant whilst on our honeymoon, food and drink very satisfying. When we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, my pizza arrived in the shape of a heart courtesy of the chef ❤️ When we visit Roma again in the future I will definitely be visiting for a bite... More

Got a recommendation to go here from our hotel and was well worth it! We arrived without a booking and they were more than happy to accommodate us, even got a little appetiser when we sat. I cannot recommend the fried mozzarella more, nicest flavours I have EVER had!! We had the calzone and carbonara which were both fantastic but... More

Food wasn't remarkable, service was poor (after waiting 10 minutes for the check I walked to the register), restaurant was very cold, TV was on. So sorry I wasted a meal here.

I would like to give you one advice ...when you go on Holiday try to relax is a magic moment ...there were a lot of people since there was a football match on the maxi screem (Champions League)if you waited 10 minutes for the bill ( not for your meal )maybe because we were busy and for this I am... Small restuarant with a pleasant atmosphere. It was busy but the service was still quite prompt. We tried the home made wine and liked it.

We arrived late on Monday night and asked the hotel staff to suggest a traditional Italian restaurant. As soon as we walked through the doors we were made to feel extremely welcome and the there was a lively buzz. The food was outstanding and the staff were really friendly. We have to specially mention Cristina and Elisa who were particularly... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
