My wife and I coincidentally found this place as we walked by it daily on our way back to our rented flat. The menu looked interesting so we decided to go and dine there. We shared a pizza as well as a steak which we enjoyed very much. We recommend and would go back.

they offer quality and season products with a very helfpul owner, willing to assist and give good advice. pasta was incredibly great, also antipasti and desserts. it is very central, just 10 minutes walk from la fontana di Trevi. many locals eating in this place, it is a restaurant, but non expensive.

The desert that we ordered was good but extremely overpriced. I would not return there again. I'm sure there are other areas where you could get the same thing a lot cheaper. The server was friendly but the price was over the top.

Simple, nice, quiet atmosphere with very friendly and professional waiters. Pizza was not the best I ever had but was still well above average.

We ate here two nights running and have to say that the food was great! The charming Francesco made us feel very welcome. Over the two nights we had ravioli, pizza and risotto and received a complimentary glass of homemade limoncello on the first night -two on the 2nd night! Would definitely eat there again when we visit Rome again... More

Nice looking place ( from the street) encourage us to enter- big mistake. We were waiting long time for a food and when finally arrive was very average. Owner probably tries to save money keeping air condition hardly working, there were very hot and again long time to get a bill. Never again

We came in for lunch and ordered a pizza Napoli and two drafted beers, small and large. The draft beer was lukewarm, totally flat and tasted terribly. Our pizza Napoli was covered in heavy cheese and fat. I could neither drink og eat any of it, so I left the restaurant, and left my husband to pay the bill.. When... More

The rosemary and olive oil bread we ordered for a starter was well over cooked and not good. The spaghetti carbonara was ok, the diavolo pizza was reasonable, and the penne dish was not hot enough (either with spice or temperature) so was quite disappointing. The staff were prepared to add a vegetable ingredient when requested, which was good, and... More

Food was fresh and good. The staff was very friendly, attentive and made good suggestions. I would visit again if I travel to Rome in the future.

Thank Phillip L

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
