We stumbled upon Il Panzotto while walking around our hotel. Absolute gem of a restaurant. During our 4 day trip to Rome, we went back to this restaurant twice, ending our trip with amazing steak and pasta. Their steak is to die for; best steak...ive ever had. Their pasta is fantastic as well, with their carbonara, amatriciana, and cacio e pepe all being good. Be warned, in comparison to how americans cook pasta, italians cook it much more al dente (honestly way better after getting used to it). If you are down to try some spice, order their rigatoni dish! Beyond the food, Il Panzotto had wonderful service. Vitaliy was extremely helpful, giving wonderful recommendations. Additionally, everytime we went, we had wonderful conversations with him that made the already incredible experience even better. So glad i found this restaurant! Pls try their steak!!! Last thing, just general tip, pls avoid all tourist trap restaurants, which there are many in Rome.More

The pasta was not Cooked enough, there was a lot of Cork in my red wine. The olive oil was very good and the bruscetta was ok.

We booked online and arrived at the booked time. We were received well and fed like kings and queens. Our waiter and host were most accommodating catering to our every wish. The Food is fantastic and please leave some space for their dessert section. In...house prepared by the Chef. An absolute plus. Recommended.More

With really reasonable prices, this restaurant offers the most accurate roman cuisine in latium. All the ingredients, which are niche products of rare qualitity, are chosen by the owner, a nice and passionate person, who also has the generosity of revealing all his recipes to...the customers on the place or on his youtube Channel "il panzotto". Maybe the place is a little hidden and seems a little more modern that the city center trattorias that most of the time happen to be tourist traps but if you want to eat real roman cuisine with hard to find ingrédients (Benedetto cavalieri pasta, guanciale and pecorino from niche producers- i forgot the name sorry, Season vegetables from owner garden etc...) go to IL PANZOTTO And don't forget to taste their olive oil made with so young green olives that no producer in the World can afford to make something nearly similar. This was a great experience. We started with steamed artichokes. Then had the carbonara. Cacio e pepe, finished with steak with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly. The server was attentive and pleasant. This place goes on my list of one of my...favorites in Rome.More

I was curious to dine at Panzotto, given the very few negative reviews, I go there for dinner with a friend, sure to make a good impression, and so it was, fantastic welcome by the very young staff, typical Roman dishes served with love, small...room but very nice with attention to detail, we ate from appetizer to dessert, drinking good wine and we did not pay a blunder, perfect price quality, I highly recommend trying the cuisine of the Panzotto, carbonara, sublime cheese and pepper, excellent appetizers and main courses , courtesy, service and welcome are part of this structure, I will be back soon.More
