This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as it was in walking distance, we would never have found it otherwise as it is off the main street. We arrived on a Monday night and were lucky to get a table, it was hopping with local...More

Ate here twice on our five days in Rome. Once at diner and then on our last day for lunch. Restaurant is deceptively large on two floor below street level. Friendly efficient service. Great fresh pasta, good menu and wine list. Good house wine only...More

This is our first visit to this hidden restaurant on a side street. We went here three times & found the food and service excellent. The house white wine at € 7 was very good. We will definitely return.

Just what we hoped for when we got recommended this Italian trattoria. We visited two times when on holiday. We had lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, spaghetti carbonara and the house red wine. Everything was delicious. Nothing fancy but real Italian trattoria food. Good portions. Cheap as...More

Menu is reasonably priced. Food is ok service good with general ambience pleasant but somewhat phrenetic. As a comparison the pasta dishes are not at the standard of say e-Bar which is about 450m metres away down Via Napoli and turn right. Service efficient, price...More

The food was absolutely delicious. Calf liver is not the easiest meal to prepare but this trattoria presented it exquisitely. Other dishes were lovely too. Prices were reasonable. Unfortunately we had a grumpy waiter who didn't welcome children. He was reluctant to hand out menus...More

A lovely restaurant close to the station and Opera house. very welcoming and friendly staff and the food is very good indeed. The cost, by Rome standards, was amazingly good. Highly recommended.

I little hidden but near the Opera House and the Central Train Station. Wonderful food and friendly service. I would go back just for the mixed antipasti plate!

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
