Great food, good service, and reasonable prices. what more do you want? We were renting a small apartment a few blocks from the Coliseum. Most of the restaurant s in the area are mediocre serving pizza and average pasta. We were delighted to find this...More

I had eaten here about 3 years ago, and was happy to find that this time I liked it even better. We ended up going twice - sitting outside (the street isn't noisy) and also inside (pleasant by the large open windows). The food is...More

We stopped to look at the menu as it was just round the corner from our hotel and one of the couples sitting outside said how lovely their meal had been, so we took the plunge and glad we did. Food was lovely, not a...More

The first positive aspect was when we were inspecting the menu outside the restaurant. No hassling or hard sell from the waiter, just a charming smile and then he left us to it. The menu soon inspired confidence. It is not huge, which is often...More

This place is a must. He food is wonderful. The waiters lovely and friendly. The food is home cooked. We had to wait for pudding as it was made fresh - delicious chocolate. Also try the tiramisu. Main roast pig fab. Lovely atmosphere. Cannot fault.

We had a really great lunch here while we waited for our Colosseum tour to start. We had a meat/cheese platter which was delicious. The pasta cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) was also really great. Nice atmosphere. I would go there again.

We found our way to this place from a recommendation from another guest staying at the Lancelot hotel. Really liked the place and its value!

Was on my way for a 2 PM bike tour at TopBike (great by the way) which is near the Coloseum, .and saw that my little fold out map from Top 10 Rome mentioned Il Bocconcino. Turned out to be a very welcoming little trattoria,...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
