The place was nice and comfy. The food was good and delicious. First time in a very long time, i did not need to add extra hot sauce or flakes to my food. I like my food spicy. They also offer you Spumante before a meal, which I though was very good. Normally nothing is complimentary. They also offered a... More

Appearances can be deceptive - with its fairy lights and 'charming' manager (who lures unsuspecting victims off the streets with a glass of cheap fizz, more like a relentless salesman than a restaurant manager) this place looked appealing. However, we were lied to by said manager about the fact that ALL food was freshly prepared rather than frozen, as the... More

Went there for evening diner while visiting Rome, we sat in the glass enclosure on the street , which was nice. The food was very good (we had squid, fish, beef). Only problem was the prices of the dishes on the menu was not advertised the same like on the menu outsider. My wife had the fish which was 7... More

Maybe I was just blown away by the Caesar Salad and the thick home made pasta, but the price was reasonable to me specially seeing it's location..

Dined twice here first night had pizza of which they brought out two pizza's when only ordered one. Filled us up on Prosecco and Limoncello. Then my husbands scotch and coke came and my beer took another 10 mins. We ordered the seafood platter of which we had seen served to a couple the night before and it looked lovely... More

We have been there for dinner and we paid 170 EUR for 2 persons, one little bottle of wine, a fresh fish made in front of us, they put a lot of salt on it and then they set it on fire, I guess that they only did this for the show, to impress. They recommend the most expensive fish,... More

The food and wine in this restaurant was more expensive than in the Michelin starred restaurant we ate in the night before and the quality was abysmal. We were offered a complimentary galss of "champagne" which was the sweetest most undrinkable spumanti that I have ever tried. We had a mixed seafood grill and returned the dover sole and prawns... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
