After having a poor reception at another restaurant, we returned to La Bruschetta ( ordered two pizzas the day before) and so glad we did what a delight! We were tired, it was later (8pm) and we had just walked over an hour, however, in seconds we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Service was prompt and entertaining! We enjoyed... More

Just around the corner from our hotel. We ate there three times during our visit to Rome. The pizza is delicious with a lovely crisp, thin crust. Lasagna was excellent. Bruschetta was great, tomatoes were so sweet and tasty. Tiramisu was amazing. The house red is enjoyable. The waiters are very friendly and happy to help.

We went in here by chance and found it very friendly and served excellent pizza. The house red was fine. The pizza was crisp and light. We were persuaded to try the cheesecake, which was also delicious.

Great stop for a pizza, staff very friendly and attentive. Be sure to order a little pitcher of wine..house white is excellent for the price!

This place was close to the hotel we're staying. Convenient location, good product and service. Enjoyed the homemade pasta and desserts.

We wandered in here our second night in Rome because the place we'd been referred to was closed. It was a happy accident. We were greeted warmly and wick oh set up with menus and wine and a feeling of community. Boniface took care of all the tables and his encyclopedic knowledge of sports kept the conversations going. He knows... More

I loved La Bruschetta E! I have to admit that the service played as much of a part in this review as the food did. We took the waiter's advice on what to order and our wine chose and we were not disappointed. By the time we left I felt like I had met a new friend!

Desperate to find decent restaurants in Rome.having been extremely disappointed overall, our concierge suggested this local café/bistro. Basic but fitted the bill for a quick lunch. Gnocchi with clams very tasty although I was not convinced the gnocchi was homemade as stated on menu but clams and sauce were good. My lunch partner thought his Veal Milanese although without pasta... More

We came there without checkin reviews and it was very tasty! Pizza quite expensive (13euro) but was delicious. My friend highly recommends tiramisu. But the best thing was staff - so lovely! Especially waiter - so funny and made such home atmosphere!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
