What can i say? Great to finally be able to visit again with this whole corona situation. Still as tasty and filling as last time!

I've been living in Rome for 6 months and travel to Italy frequently, and Tram Tram served the best meal I've had yet. We enjoyed antipasti of fried alici, steak tartar, and some kind of roast pepper dish. For our primi, we feasted on tiella...(rice, potatoes, and clams) and the pappardelle Tram Tram, which proved a highlight of the meal. For secondi, we had lamb and baccala, both of which were delicious. To finish, we ate the sweetest, freshest watermelon I've ever had. Throw in two bottles of wine, and the bill came to about 160 euro. In addition to an absolutely delicious meal, the service was top-notch. As someone who comes from a restaurant family, I'm always eager to support a family-run trattoria. I hope to take friends back to the San Lorenzo area and Tram Tram soon.More

The owner was like the doting Italian grandmother we never had, even if she didn’t speak a word of English. The Gnocchi Ragu and Rigatoni Pajata were both great. It was a really enjoyable meal for food, ambiance, and service that made you feel welcome...and at home. Tram Tram is way outside the normal tourist area, far behind Termini, near Basilica di San Lorenzo and Cimiterio Verano (both well worth visiting).More

Really sweet place with a wonderful service. Just a shame that all dishes didn’t taste great All a bit blend...

Tram Tram ( a play on the Italian phrase: Tran, tran, a boring, everyday routine) is an extremely pleasant, anything but ordinary little restaurant that is worth the trip to San Lorenzo. It's very close to where a couple of trams intersect (#3 is probably...the most convenient). The food is the best feature; the decor is plain; there's an English menu but it's pretty rudimentary. The wine list is a definite plus. We had a couple of appetizers, including a very tasty hummus. We also split the eggplant parm, and that was really good. All 4 of us were pleased with ou appetizers, though everyone agreed that the lamb was the best. The caio e pepe pasta was indeed respectable, and we are cacio e pepe snobs! The desserts did not disappoint either. So make your way there. Don't expect a lot of help with the menu. And come back to tourist Rome satisfied that, for once, you did not overpay and got a really good meal.More

Though further away from city center I think this was a great find for dinner. This was especially apparent looking at the other patrons of the restaurant as they all appeared to be locals. One of our favorite places to dine while in Rome.

This place was a friend's go-to restaurant whenever in town, and I had the occasion to dine there several times. Expect some lovely traditional local food.

Authentic local cooking. Anchovies in a green pie - tremendous. All pasta dishes exquisite and original.

Went here for our last meal in Rome. It was a Sunday night and people were coming in at around 10 pm. We booked a table before hand but in hindsight I don’t think that is necessary. The food was average at best. I had...Cacio e Pepe that was a little bit too salty and it had a deep undertone of olive oil throughout the dish. Me and my boyfriend felt that the prices didn’t really match the product we were given, however the service there was pleasant.More
