I went there with my brother for lunch before our flight out. We were seated. Waitress asked us if we wanted food or drinks. We said we needed a sec to look over menu. She asked us if we wanted drinks in mean time so...we ordered coffee. After she brought coffees she never returned for our food orders. We tried to bring this to attention and asked for manager, but we're told one was not available. Then they told us that it was our fault because how is waitress supposed to know? Aren't waitresses in restaurants to ask people for orders. I go to places to relax and enjoyed food not to track waitresses down? Want me to look for the cook and dishwashers too? That's the restaurant's business.More

Worst food I’ve ever ate. The pasta wasnt fresh , I felt like I was being tortured. Never go there ! I would have preferred to throw my money in the trash and not pay for this. The view is amazing but I prefer to...eat better food with my eyes covered.More

If the pasta was not to her liking she could leave it, so she would not be tortured

We've been waiting for more than 15mins to be served, and there wasn't so many customers. The staff was kind of rude. This is definitely a tourists scam. Run away!

Don’t let the scenery fool you, this place has the absolutely laziest and rudest staff. Id give NEGATIVE 10 stars if possible.

This could of been such a different review if only the staff were not so judgemental and moody. This is not all the staff but one particular. Having been given tokens from our bnb around the corner we were unsure what we could have for...our breakfast so we asked and a simple question what can we have ? An explanation was given. The next day we were greeted by a young man so moody I asked him if he was ok. Next we had him putting a bill in front of us asking for owed money and him saying no angry no angry. Taken back by his behaviour I asked what’s going on the manager said we had more than our token permitted. Ok but I asked, why say you can when you can’t. Nevertheless the rest of the week was awkward and we felt intimidated. All this could of been avoided if they explained properly when we asked.More

Our tour met near here, so we decided to give the place a try. The location is pretty nice--directly opposite the Colosseum, but up a level. The food was decent. I had a good sandwich and my wife had a good salad. It is a...little pricey, but given the location, it is understandable. Service was acceptable. Be prepared for a wait for the restroom--there's only one.More

Went twice to order ice cream. First time we were served by a waiter/ owner who was surly and thoroughly devoid of charm. Ice cream decent however. Second time tried to be served by the same waiter . Reception worse - waited 15 - 20...minutes at the take away counter having paid for ice cream only to watch him serve all after comers coffee and completely ignore our party. Tried to get his attention - he would have heard me - no response. A corpse would have been more welcoming. Asked for our money back and left. The cashier was apologetic and seemed nice. Great view. The waiter / owner is is the wrong job though .More

As there is not food available inside the colosseum, we chose to have lunch just before meeting our tour, which gathered directly across from this cafe. It was an amazing view of the colosseum, and a wonderful cup of coffee with lunch that we remember...most. Relaxed atmosphere, amazing view, friendly staff.More

Not bad, but expensive. The place has a privilege location, however the prices are quite high compared with other good restaurants in Roma. $5 a Coke?? The food was ok. But you can definitely find better places for this price. The service was ok.
