We found this restaurant through the app "The Fork" and we booked with a discount of 50% including drinks. We ordered pasta all'amatriciana (tomato and bacon sauce), pasta alla carbonara with tuna, pasta alla carbonara with truffle and a grilled chicken and vegetables plate. All dishes were delicious and the service was good with good waiting times. I don't feel... More

Not sure where all the 5 star ratings come from but that was not my experience here. Food was just OK and priced a bit high for the quality presented. Was close to our hotel and service was good until the waiter informed me when he presented the bill that service was not included. Guess he can spot someone from... More

Nothing so special about this restaurant at all. The food was basic so was the service. The price is not so cheap either. This is just good for those who couldn't find any restaurant around to eat! so, don't expect much experience here or some good food that you would remember and come back again to enjoy.

Tomoko-Tudini was only a block from our hotel & had a large outside area on a beautiful night. Sadly when we got there the outside tables were full, so we ate inside in the small dining room. It was delightful. We started with the vegetarian bruschetta. It was crunchy & tasty. I had the spaghetti amatriciana and husband had spaghetti... More

I was in a rome around 3 weeks ago and I had a privilege to get the delicious taste of "carbonara with truffle", "pizza margarita" and "Red Wine". My girlfriend ordered her favorite "tuna grill" and she had experienced the tastiest "tuna grill" of her lifetime. It was a beautiful evening, the place is so beautiful, and all the staff... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
