This is an Italian restaurant where they treat you exactly like family. Have you ever been at a relative's and they keep bringing food, even if you are full? This is how it works in Dino's and Toni's place. We went there to enjoy some traditional Italian dishes and that's exactly what we got. Very good pasta and deserts. Will... More

What an experience! This pizzeria/restaurant is owned and run by two brothers and is unique. We were recommended to visit by family members who had been and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We were met by Toni as we walked through the door and were ushered enthusiastically to a table. With his English and our limited Italian we... More

Bustling family run Italian trattoria run by Dino and Toni and Dinos charming daughter rossella. No menu, piles of scrumptous food just plonked in front of you without much fuss. You have to eat the fried Artichokes, and they serve what has to be the best Limoncello I've ever tasted, made by a family friend in Sicily. Great atmosphere, wonderful... More

It was a truly Italian experience, the staff are amazing and very welcoming. The experience is something I will never forget and would recommend everyone to visit while in Rome. It's a little off the "tourist" trail, yet worth making every effort. The food is good, but be prepared to eat as it just keeps coming - along with copious... More

My family from Avellino met us in Rome and took us to this restaurant. Dino might have known one of my cousins and that may have contributed to the special treatment we got that night. Without exaggeration, at least 10 to 12 courses came out of the kitchen. Puntarelle salad, antipasto, white and red pastas, salad, pork with potatoes, and... More

Although the restaurant is quite modest (without prior recommendations, probably I would never tried it), the food exceeds all expectations! Definitely one of the best food experience of my life. Authentic ingredients used for real pizza and pasta. Some fellows Dino and Toni, they truly add local flavor and complete the Italian meal scenario! I highly recommend!

We visited here originally on the back of a recommendation from The Lonely Planet book and were really glad we read reviews and knew what to expect! You should brace yourselves for true Italian style serving, without a menu in sight. 'Antipasti?' was the question and 'Yes' was my answer, after which we were presented with no less than three... Don't get discouraged by some negative reviews. Surely this restaurant is not for impatient people who don't have time to appratiate food. But if you're looking for experience with real home style Italian food with authentic atmosphere, this is the place to go!!! Dino and Tony are welcoming friendly people, food is just incredible and the atmosphere..Ah there are no... More

Enjoyed our lunch break at this rustic restaurant which is well worth the hunt off the normal tourist route. Really simple tasting food at reasonable prices and good portions. Highly recommended as a good alternative to sitting in the overpriced canteen style cafes around the Vatican. This place is a 5 min walk from the Vatican museum and is a... More
