I like this place because of its superb location: right on Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, where urban and trendy Roman thirty-somethings usually meet (forget Trastevere: too touristy). Monti is a nice neighbourhood to stroll around and this restaurant offers good pizza and other (average) Italian dishes at a decent price. Plus, it's the perfect place for people watching, but... We discovered this cafe restaurant by chance one lunchtime whilst visiting Rome. It is situated in a bustling pretty square and looked the kind of place that would be good for a quick lunch with our young son. It did not disappoint, kindness from the waiting staff, lovely coffee, delicious bruschetta and cooked to order pasta for our son... anyone... More

We have heard about this caffe from a traveller blog. We had lunch in here. The pasta with meat( similar bolognese) was not good. However, lasagna meet expectations. The advantage of this place is around the piazza.

Why cook good food when you have the perfect setting? The restaurant is charming, and in fairness the drinks are good. They even have the higher end sodas Italians are so good at making, but not at selling in the businesses of Rome. As to the dishes... It is almost too painful to describe them. The pizzas are worse than Trader... More

The food was terrible; our pasta ragu tasted like it had been microwaved. The portions were also tiny.

After living in Rome for a whole year I can say with certainty that this was the worst meal I had the entire time! The service was neither rude nor accommodating and the location was quite comfortable, but none of that makes up for the extremely bad experience. We ordered some water, a platter of prosciutto with melon and 3... More

We were of foot and on the way back to our hotel after watching an opera when we heard people having a good time 11h00 at night. The square by the fountain were full of people laughing and chatting. Great atmosphere. The caffé staff were very friendly and service was quick. We sat outside and enjoyed the summer breeze and... More

The aperitivo is fantastic and very cheap (6 euros for two). Also, the quality of the food is very good and the staff are quick and nice!
