This is an historical restaurant of Rome You can feel the Roman climate in a simple but nice location and enjoy a good service I had the bucatini alla matriciana that is the most popular dish of the restaurant and they are delicious

This was one of the best restaurants i enjoyed the food. We had dinner here 2 days in a row. Everything was great! From seafood pasta to bruschetta (seafood bruschetta to die for), to beef in a lemon souse. Yes, beef in a lemon (citrus)...More

Excellent atmosphere (the owner and the waiter SEBASTIANO were super friendly!), delicious pasta (I ate the pasta of the house - bucatini alla Matriciana, but Ravioli and Carbonara are excellent too). The desert “pera con ciocollato belga” was really tasteful! Just steps from our hotel.

A very nice hotel, close to the Opera. It's usually full, so book in advance. The food is very very good and beautifully presented. Try the house red wine and the great variety of salads. Also a soup.

Had a decent experience here, had the pasta amatriciana (original I know) and the tripe alla Romana. Amatriciana was slightly too salty for me due to the cured guanciale but was perfectly acceptable and in general I find Roman food on the salty side so...More

This is a traditional, old style formal restaurant. Beautiful table setting. The wine list was nice. The truffle toast was amazingly wonderful! The rest of the meal wasn’t bad, but nothing to write home about. The ravioli was flavorless, the sauce seemed like it was...More

We had a lovely family lunch here. The linguine with seabass and lemon was gorgeous. Nice staff and pleasant interior. We went back again one evening, when it was disappointing - they had no fresh fish left. But would recommend for lunch.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
