I think I’ve been here 4 times now and can safely say this is the best gelato place in Rome. They are open late. You have to pay up front first then present the ticket to the gelato guy who will scoop it onto a...More

I got a cone with 3 flavors; cream of whiskey, caramelized fig and coffee. The ice cream itself was heavenly. I read some reviews about better gelaterias in Rome, but nobody made any suggestions. I'd be really curious to see if there's ice cream even...More

Many sweets and ice cream flavours. The cannoli with ricotta cheese was excellent. It is really crowded but worth the wait. One can sit and order sweets, coffee, sandwiches or some extravagant dessert. If you sit at a table prepare to pay double, the coffee...More

Always busy and consistently so good. Tremendous variety of flavors and popular not only with tourists but also with locals. Every time we come to Rome we always stop in for the great gelato. Be prepared, though, as you must pay first, and then take...More

My wife came with me saying she didn’t want anything but that quickly changed after seeing the offerings. It was supposed to be open late another night that I tried to stop in, but was closing up when I got there, very disappointed I couldn’t...More

amazing gelato, although that's true for about a thousand other places in Rome also. This place gets bonus points for being such an icon, with lines and bad service included. Try the fico carmellato and cioccolato, with crema on top.

Absolutely hands down best gelato and panna, however be prepared to eat it outside unless you get something other than gelato. The wait staff will rudely point to the table sign that reads that only waited customers can sit and utilize the tables. Kinda rude...More

OMG the best gelato ever! The number of flavors available is amazing, my favorite was the mint! If you like mint, you will love this! The wild cherry and dark chocolate just makes your mouth water! A hint, get in line first to buy your...More

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos,
goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross
paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the

the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle
Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque
parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty
face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural
