Went here a few times as our hotel was right around the corner. It's a quick walk from the Pantheon as well. Wonderful gelato! You won't be disappointed.

We were here twice during our one week stay in Rome and found the ice cream delicious. Served in chocolate covered cones each ice cream (we chose 3 flavours) was almost a meal in itself.

We decided to have an ice cream here on recommendation and it IS very good . We paid more to ease our aching feet and sit in the seating area. Be aware you can't eat your cone here, you have to order a glass of icecream. It's quite reasonabe though..3 flavours plus cream came to about 7€

When wanting to taste gelato this is the place to go.We asked some policemen the directions and they were so impressed that we wanted to go there they personally took us it is certainly the best gelato we have ever tasted.Don't miss out on a visit and the prices are very reasonable too.

This is Roman institution so the girls insisted we visit. Worth it. The shop is pleasantly old fashioned and you have to buy a ticket before queuing for the ice creams. I chose a small cone which came with two huge scoops of pear and blackcurrant. Delicious, as we're all the other chosen. Go.

This is an incredible ice cream shop over nearly 50 or more different kinds. You can find all shades of every colour in the showcase. Choosing has never been so difficul :)

A great place to get your gelato: there are tons of flavors and each one of them is so real that you don't even notice you are eating ice-cream. In addition there are plenty of pastry choices at this place and a spacious seating area.

We asked a taxi driver for a place to have a good icecream and he recommended this one. We were impressed by the multitude of flavours available, but the taste was totally disappointing. Also the the staff was unpolite and disorganised. Spend your money somewhere else and thank me later.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
