Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went there with coupons from our B&B. It was typical Italian. Milk with chocolate fie my son, cappucino for me, fresh squeezed oragne juice and croissants. Staff friendly, easily remember every customer. Worth recommending.

For two days I ordered salad to go, both were very delicious and very filling. They included all the cutlery and condiments. The granola yogurt is also very good. The girl who helped me was very attentive and fluent in English. Very good choice of place

This Cafe is near hotel we stayed out for our visit to Rome. We have visited daily for breakfast it is so good. The prices are very reasonable and the cafe is clean and bright. The pastries are fabulous! We found because one of our group is Vegan and she was thrilled to have options for Vegan Croissant and cookies to eat with her coffee. Highly recommend!

So delighted ro realise the Italians love coffee and cake in the morning, perfetto!! Lovely clean cafe with supee nice staff who explained their menu. Reasonable prices, fruit juice to die for and the food was awesome. We went every morning for breakfast as it was on the way to Termini station. Thank you so much for making our stay amazing.

Popped in here when just arrived in Rome. Drawn by the cleanliness & displays of fresh fruit & cakes. We had coffees with cherry cake .. delicious! Served promptly and with pride. Very reasonable prices. We passed every day when we returned to our hotel, they seemed to stay open very late and would easily have gone in again if we hadn't already eaten. Small cafes like this are a credit to their owners & staff. Grazie mille!

Indifferent server forgot to place my order for a simple chicken salad. Claiming they had to “cook the chicken” when my husband’s chicken dinner came 20minutes earlier. No communication, no apology... the girl seemed annoyed at me. Had to ask for water glasses. On the up-side, good wifi for me to write this review and the salad was decent.

We stopped there for breakfast, we had a super tiny yogurt with 3 flakes and two pieces of fruit, it was ridiculous and not good at all. The orange juice was too sour and it did not taste like a fresh orange juice. Plus this breakfast was super expensive for what it was ... scam of Roma

We discovered this place on our way to our very early Vatican tour. It was already open at 6am and a life saver! Service was very friendly, delicious coffee, fresh orange juice, delicious muffins and pastries... just great all around. We ate breakfast here every day the rest of our trip it was that great.

We were lucky enough to discover vitality on our first morning in Rome. The set breakfast is amazing value and a great selection is available, I am vegetarian and there were numerous options available. The set breakfast includes a glass of freshly squeezed juice a coffe and a croissant or sandwich for €4.99 to €6.99 dependent on the sandwich ( we paid €3 at one place for a coffee which was no where near the quality of the coffee here). We visited vitality 3 mornings and tried the croissant, mozzarella and tomato prosciutto and sun dried tomato and all were delicious.

We lucked out in choosing to have breakfast here while staying in a nearby hotel...Mario was lovely and absolutely brilliant with our little girl - free “babyccinos” and lots of attention both mornings we popped in. Breakfasts were top notch pastries and freshly made, healthy fruit and yoghurt pots. Prices more than reasonable, especially for the set breakfasts. Brilliant!

We didn't have breakfast in our B&B so we had to find a place close by to eat one before going to explore the city. It was a very good choice! The people working there are very friendly and kind and the prices are low. An espresso with a croissant cost 2euro and 20 cents.

I am from Rome and today I have felt like most of tourists feel in doggy restaurants/bars. A pure robbery. One example: 9,5 euro for a take away salad with two chops of canned tuna. We paid in total 33,30 euros for two people take away (receipt in photo). Mortality food I would name it!

Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
