Everything here was great! Great food and atmosphere. I had pasta, house wine, the carcioffi (have to get that), dessert. My wife had similar and loved it as well!

Recommended y a local we had an easy time getting reservations (recommended) through our hotel. Food is plentiful, service is great, only problem is a bit too salty. If you have a problem with salt skip this place.

We went to Hostaria Romana on our first evening in Rome and it was fully booked. So we reserved a table for the following day and that was one of the highlights of our visit to Rome. We not only enjoyed the food but also the friendliness of their waiters. Their pasta and pizza were very good as well as... More

This is my second visit to this restaurant. When we came at 14 o'clock it was packed and since we did not make reservations we had to return at 1430. The clientele is a mixture of locals and tourists. The food was very good and you feel that this place is both professional and gives respect to tradition. We had... More

I was mildly disappointed with this restaurant though to be fair it was clear that people were enjoying themselves and perhaps I made the wrong choice of food. The caprese was very good, but the pollo romana consisted of scrag ends and was pretty tough. The upstairs room that you see from the street is very welcoming, but there are... More

A good recommendation by a friend, who used to live a few years in Rome. Delicious food, you can watch the waiters finish the preparation of some of the dishes by themselves by stirring, mixing and adding seasoning. My pasta dish was a little bit too salty but fresh and good. The place is pretty crowded, tables are very close... More

This restaurant was recommended by our Hotel. We tried to get in the first night and it was full so we made reservations for the following night. We had wonderful service and fabulous authentic Italian food & experience. There was a server named Carmelo (same name as my fiancee) not sure if that was the reason but they kept bringing... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
