A good friend recommended this. He is Italian and wanted to get us off the tourist scene. This is a family run restaurant, packed with locals on a Monday night. It is not spacious but our food was really good, as was the house Red at just 8 euros a bottle. Great pizza, excellent steak in the Italian style. And... More

We had a pizza at Trattoria del Pollarolo and it was freshly cooked and very tasty as well as reasonably priced. Recommend a visit.

We found this Trattoria (more informal/cheaper than a typical restaurant) from TripAdvisor. We are glad we did. We ordered recommendations of risotto with mushrooms & spaghetti with clams & mussels, both were very tasty. The Tirimasu both coffee and limoncello were amazing and definitely one of the best I've tried.

Perfect thin crust pizza. Excellent service and white Chardonnay wine. So busy, therefore it is worth to wait

Glad we found this gaff. Great pizza, fast service, great value!!!! Go go go. Loads of pictures of celebs on the wall, although we questioned their authenticity we were convinced of Pollarolo's

I had been walking all day exploring the city and was ravenously hungry, but really wasn't sure about where I wanted to eat. In the end I decided I would walk through the door of the next restaurant that I assed, which was The Trattoria del Pollarolo. The restaurant and service is simple, the house wine was a bit rough... Service and food both outstanding. Every dish we ordered was tasty. Even finished with dessert (four!). Dine here without fear of disappointment.

This was by far the most authentic and delicious experience we had during our stay there. The pasta was to die for, the pizza amazing, the service very friendly and helpful. try going there before 8pm rush hour, cause the place is packed even on a weekday. The most amazing Tiramissu ever!

We reached there at 2.45 and they close at 3 but they still allowed us in! The pizza was amazing and the ravioli was superb.

What a great find – a block off Piazza Popolo. The pizza had the thinnest crust I have eaten with a nice char around the edges and the mushrooms were plentiful. My artichoke appetizer was one of the specials of the day. I certainly recommend that diners check out the chalkboard for the daily specials, as a nice glass of... More
