We visited this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. Its friendly, casual and not touristy. You should come prepared for an atypical dining experience - no menu and an extensive antipasto offering that they assume you want. We did and found the whole experience...More

Went to the restaurant as a recommendation from a newly opened wine bar around the corner of Santopadre. We arrived early forgetting that most restaurants don't open until 7pm and went off to get an aperitif at a restaurant around the corner. When we returned...More

This traditional restaurant has a horse racing theme and serves traditional Roman food. The owner Bruno Santopadre shows his love for the food they serve from the moment the antipasto arrive on the table. Service is excellent and the traditional environment very comfortable.

We were so excited to go back to Santopadre. The last time we were in Rome we ate there twice in one week because the food was so delicious. Unfortunately we didn't have the same experience this time and we won't be going back.

Our tour included a meal at the Santopadre. This proved convenient as it was located just around the corner from our hotel. We had a reservation and were welcomed and seated immediately. The restaurant was family operated, and they provided friendly explanations of the courses...More

Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and
Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a
posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and
models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
