The food at this restaurant was one of the I had while in Rome. Found it by walking around the the piazza di spagna. The prices were also one of the cheapest in the area. Service was exceptional

The desk clerk at our hotel recommended Lowenhaus to us and we loved the place. Located in a narrow alley just a stone's throw from Piazza de Poppolo, it offers indoor and outdoor seating. We ate dinners twice there at an outdoor table and thoroughly...More

Dropped in at Löwenhaus when city-walking Rome with a few colleagues. We were thirsty and had to stop to wait for another colleague, so this seemed like a good place for a pit-stop. We sat down on the narrow pavement outside the restaurant. Fout beers...More

Went in for evening meal. Menu choice ok. Service really friendly. Prices ok. Wife had a burger with salad and I had spaghetti Carbonara. Wife really enjoyed her burger and it was a good sized portion. My meal was nice but portion was small. Think...More

My husband and I were staying nearby so we ended up eating here twice as a change from Italian meals. We ate downstairs inside to stay away from the smokers sitting at the tables outside. It was like stepping into a beer hall in Germany!...More

Tucked away in a side street away from the road. Beer good if a little expensive ( although now seems the norm for Rome). Pasta and bruschetta very nice.

The food was okay, not great and not bad. I suspect the Italian food is much better than their German options. It was hot out so we asked to be seated inside and the waiter (very friendly young man) took us downstairs to the inside...More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
