My favourite bar and eatery in Rome. I come to Rome every 2 years for the rugby and we ALWAYS come here. The place is lovely. Typical German Bier Keller. The beer is great. And the food is even better. All with nice friendly staff. And they always show the rugby. Always worth the visit

We ate here after my wife picked it. Its located on a side street and we sat outside as it was a pleasant evening. The waitress was pleasant and efficient, fixing our wobbly table. I ordered a lasagne with my wife opting for the carbonara and a mushroom pizza to share. Whilst my wife wanted coke I ordered a large... More

We stopped in on our way to piazza del popolo for a drink and a rest. Great atmosphere, little downstairs cavern with German songs on the radio. They brought us a nice meat and cheese plate and the beers were excellent. Right in the heart of things but slightly out of the way on a side street. A fun find!

We found it by accident. The staff was very friendly. The place is very cosy. As for the food....excellent...one of the best pizzas in Rome so far. Highly recomended.

I stayed next door at the hotel Valadier and decided to eat here, had no idea what to expect and the food was amazing. I was very surprised by the decent portions that were well priced. I left very full.

Excellent reasonably priced pub restaurant, great food and drink and a cosy atmosphere. They do have a television in 1 part which can get a bit noisy if a local team is playing football but worth the visit if you want to eat something a little different. You can eat outside or go down stairs.

Great location near the piazza de popolo. Good beer, friendly staff - good selection of pizza's. Recommend the Bismarck pizza. Rugby is on during the six nations.

My warning to all customers is to check your bill, last night so many customers were being asked to pay more than what they owed. Our friend paid one of the barmen €130 for our drinks and food but as we left a waitress stopped us. We were then presented with another bill for €198 that we had to pay... More

I was entered the restaurant by chance as I was searching for something else. I was impressed by the place which was very warm and friendly. The staff was very polite and helped us to order. Reasonable prices and a great menu. We have eaten a pizza (great Italian pizza) and spaghetti. Along with the potatoes and two big beers,... More
