Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best pasta we’ve had in Rome. Exquisit Lemon Sorbet. Good wine, friendly service and fair prices. This is a place we would recommend to anyone.

After 1 week in Rome with the family, testing lots of Italian restaurants, we all agree that this restaurant is outstanding. The pasta and food is epic. The atmosphere is what you looking for when strolling in small streets in Rome, the small family feeling....What we really liked was the small plates of pasta tastings from the menu. It’s not often you go into the kitchen and shake the hands of the chefs and give the staff a big hug when leaving. This restaurant is a must when visiting Rome.More

Is there a better place in Rome? I doubt it. Lovely food, wonderful atmosphere and run by the nicest team of guys in the business. Always made to feel welcome. The pasta is divine and the seafood always fresh. Amazingly good value (they should put...their prices up!!). This is definitely the place to keep coming back to. We have been at least once every year we are in Rome and it has only got better over time.More

Le Mani in Pasta is one of our not-to- miss restaurant when we are in Rome (3-4times/year). The food is excellent and the service just as great. Reginaldo , originally from Cuba, is always our server ( maybe because of where we sit), and every...time he surprises us with special dishes to try, outside of our order.More

While visiting Rome with my Granddaughter, we chose Le Mani in Pasta for our last dinner. Located In Trastavere where we were staying this is a lovely Trattoria with very friendly wait staff. We shared prosciutto and mozzarella and an artichoke with mushrooms salad for...our appetizer, then split a Cacio and Pepe pasta as our pasta course. My Granddaughter had steak and I had veal with lemon as our second course. Sadly no room for dessert!! Everything was delicious!More

Having dinner here was truly the best part of my day. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a texture that was both tender and toothsome. The sauce was...a masterpiece, rich and bursting with flavors. As I enjoyed my pasta, I couldn't help but appreciate the dedication and skill that went into creating such a culinary masterpiece. Ristorante Le Mani in Pasta had exceeded my expectations, and I left with a profound appreciation for the incredible flavors of Italy.More

Ricapitolando: Camerieri estremamente scortesi, locale sporco e cibo cattivo 🇬🇧 A really pitiful dinner in which i even received insults from the waiter… We started with a fish carpaccio and found ants on the dish. We then ordered a “chef-revised” “Gricia”. The typical Roman dish had been seasoned with white wine and chilli (obviously put there by mistake). When we reported it to the waiter, he began asking me if I knew the recipe for gricia, calling me ignorant and explaining that chilli pepper is typical of the recipe (BTW I AM ITALIAN). Not only that, he demanded that I went to talk to the chef so that he could explain me the "true" Roman recipe... madness... To recap: Extremely rude waiters, dirty place (filled with insects on the table and inside the dishes) and bad foodMore

We spent 5 days in Rome with the kids. The food in Rome is generally great, but this place really stands out. The calamari with artichokes were simply sublime. All the pastas fantastic. A lot of “locals” go here and for a very good reason....Congratulations to the chef and the staff!!!More

I was SO looking forward to going here based on the great 5 star reviews but honestly it missed the mark entirely for us. Many of the more interesting dishes on the menu are intended for two people which is impossible for us due to...dietary restrictions so we wound up getting two basic pasta dishes. Frankly, it was the most mediocre food we had in Italy (no exaggeration, we had more flavorful pasta at the airport). I don’t ever leave reviews but I had to let other people know (especially tourists like us — we are from NYC). The service at this restaurant was… bizarre to put it kindly. I feel like the place has a lot of tourist business as well as local business and there is a clear divide in how people are treated. We were rushed, there were no recommendations, and we watched people around us having a much different (read: better) experience. It was incredibly crowded and hot; as others have mentioned the experience was…chaotic. It was affordable, like many similar restaurants, but I got the impression (from the waiters rolling their eyes/scoffing) that they really don’t want tourists there. All things considered, the experience was incredibly disappointing. TLDR: If you’re a tourist, skip it.More

WOW- what a find, genuine Italian restaurant with more front and taste than anything I've had in a long time. Christo is all over his brief and you will not be disappointed with the food served here, I came twice without a reservation and was...lucky to get in, I won't bang on about the flavours as I feel you just need to get here and try it for yourself. They are quite reasonably priced and do not do the hard sell on water, aperitif , bread then entree then bottle of wine with your dinner, they are happy for you to order what ever you want without dropping the service.More
