This was recomended by our hotel. You definetly need to book a table. Seems to be a popular restaurant.

The staff are unbelievably arrogant. They refuse to smile, don't write any of your order down, get it wrong and bring the wrong dishes but fail to rectify this until everyone else at the table has finished theirs, make out they don't understand you even when you speak their language and rush you out so they can get more customers... Like wise with other reviews, was recommended by locals. . . * was fully booked after queueing for ages, so booked a table for the next evening. * food was nice like the others * the only smile we got was grand mama and one waiter out of a few. * try to book 830pm tables rather then 7pm, as... Speechless from the quality of the food & wine. Got the Carbonara as an appetizer which allowed me to order a second meal for dinner. A definite stop when in Roma

We were extremely disappointed in this over rated tourist trap! The carbonara was just ok, then on to veal that was overcooked and over saturated with lemon. House white wine was bad. This is the worst meal we have had in all of Italy and we have been here for a month. We have no idea how they bring in... More

This place is definitely worth the shot if you wanna taste a real cacio e Pepe. I fell in love with that dish, so good. But be aware, prices are not that low..

We went one evening as it was the time they were turning the tables around 8.15 (so those sat at 7pm were being ushered out) and the 8.30pm sitting was queuing up. It was fully booked so we booked for a few nights later - it must be good surely if this popular So we arrived a 8.20 , were... More

Ate here 6 years ago and came back again and it was just as good as I remember! But now way busier! I recommend getting there early or making reservations. The Carbonara is incredible the best I ever had and all the wine is 6 euro!

La Carbonara has a great atmosphere and great service and they top it off with great Italian food. I would highly recommend this establishment for travelers seeking a memorable local dining experience while in Rome Italy. It is off the beaten path yet always has a crowd. You will need reservations between 7-10 PM local time as they rarely can... More
