Great place with unique atmosphere. It is easy to notice that this is family bussiness. Prices are ok, so is the food, nothing spectacular but good enough. Beer was awesome though.

Went there on a family & friends occasion and we really enjoyed the dinner and the experience. Fresh ingredients, traditional roman kitchen, friendly owners and nice service. I sincerely recommend it. The antipasti and quality pasta , sea food, fish and meat, Roman vegetables and...More
We dropped into this spot in the late afternoon for drinks and a snack before continuing our walk. A very friendly, clean and welcoming place with very fresh, mostly simple food.
A great find tucked behind the Colosseum. The restaurant is small and inviting. A true Italian family operation; the owner/son waited on us while mama ran the kitchen. Complementary grilled bread drizzled with olive oil and a slice of tomato started our meal. I order...More
Went here for lunch after rec from local host. Great service, great indoor ambiance, delicious pasta (we had the special of the day fettuccini with mushrooms), and a wonderful house wine (a bottle for 15 euro). Will definitely go back.

Not what it used to be.....the food is ok but you feel that Alvaro has retired. He's still there, but has loosened-up. The pasta was ok, the bruschetta tasteless (wrong bread). The meat ok, service ok....but lost charm.
Pasta and meatballs with a very pleasant vino rosso della casa. Nothing remarkable but 'nice' without breaking the bank. Was not open for dinner Sunday evening.
