Rude intrusive waiter. No atmosphere. Overpriced. Pushy service trying to upsell. Additional charge of one euro per person to sit at a table in the restaurant. Stodgy flavourless carbonara. Watery tasteless prawn and mushroom pasta. Inauthentic. Cold restaurant and food. Made us feel ill afterwards. Worst restaurant in Rome. Will not return.

We were here on a quiet Sunday evening. The waiter was friendly, although a bit keen to up sell. We had pasta, which was tasty enough, and the glass of wine was fine too. Priced as expected so close to the Forum and Colosseum

While walking north from the coliseum, we stopped by this eatery for a late lunch. Mostly Italian patrons were seated outside so we joined them. It was a small menu but we wanted something small to share. My wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo which she considers the best iteration she's ever had. Delicious homemade noodles and a rich creamy sauce.... More

Wait staff was lovely but food was okay at best and way overpriced. Meatballs were horrible. Would not recommend.

The place outside looked great but inside was a little bit uncomfortable. The waiter worked in the kitchen as well so she barely had time to talk to us. Everything was very slow and the pasta was very hard. It looked like it didn't cook enough. At the end.. when we got the bill.. the waiter wrote down numbers with... More

Well, we were looking for a resturant off v.d. Cavour that is apparently no longer in existence and came across this "authentic" appearing restaurant. I've had better priced and tasting Italian food at Buca di Beppo or the Olive Garden in the US than this place. The waiter even suggested we have our meatballs WITH the spaghetti, which is not... Just off the bottom end of Via Cavour 2 minutes from the Forum and 5 minutes from the Colosseum we found the small and authentic looking restaurant one lunchtime Service wasn't the slickest you've ever seen but we were in no rush and had some really nice bread, Tripe Romana and Artichoke Risotto with 2 large beers for E33 which... Bibí, the waiter, did our day with her excellent service and spanish speaking conversation. Her positive attitude toward service really make the difference.
