This was recommended by staff at the hotel, from the outside it did not look great, the decor inside was dated. The food was good I would say the potions were small in comparison to the other restaurants that we visited during our stay in Rome The staff were polite and helpful. We felt that more could have been done... More

Had a meal here the other night. Varied options on the menu from starters to pizzas, meat or fish. As for starters if one does not wish for something from they menu there is a small buffet table where one can fill ones plate. The staff were helpful and polite and the service was good. The restaurant was not that... More

Went to this restaurant as the one we were going to was closed and very glad we did. Food was excellent and the staff were great (after our initial hesitancy with them). Would definitely go again, as it is proper, well made Italian food.

I travel to Rome a few times a year and have been going to Abruzzi for ages. The food is great and the service is excellent. There are a few guys who have been there for years, so they always welcome me back. As I said, the food is great, but my favorite part of the ritual is the Sambuca... More

The food and service here are wonderful. The carbonara is perfect - a sauce tasting richly of the cheese and not overly eggy as some are, with amazingly crispy guanciale. The antipasto al carello is sure to appeal to many - the selection is varied and it's a great way to start the meal.

We stopped in mid afternoon and asked if we could sit outside and share some wine. The waiter gave us an odd look and then disappeared inside. After a minute he came out and said yes, that we could. We ordered a bottle and sat outside. After 30 minutes, he came out and gave us our bill and stood there... More

We loved this place! The server was lovely and kept making fun at how little we ordered.... We had so much fun! He couldn't believe we didn't order seconds and thirds and "what?? No wine??" ... He probably thought we were crazy. We ordered pasta putenesca and the carbonara. Delicious. We also split some pasta fagioli.... Neat little restaurant... Tucked... More

A little restaurant, pretty close to trevi. Best pasta we had in rome (carbonara and cacio e pepe), very recommended. Also, we ordered the consume that was full of flavour and it was amazing.

We were blown away by the carbonara and gnocchi at this place. We were given a recommendation by a local catholic tour guide and he nailed it. The carbonara balance and textures were perfect and the flavor was perfection. The gnocchi were like light pillows in cream and Parmesan. They also have a very unique sambucca that is infused with... Back in 2005 this restaurant had great food and the best carbonara, but when we visited it in 2011 it changed and hasn't been the same. The food is good but not the outstanding taste it used to have. The dessert menu is limited and the service is adequate. But in the heart of tourist ville is better then the... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
