Maybe it was because I was really wanting to find linguine and clams after 3 pizza meals, but I think this was the best linguine and clams I have ever had. My wife had pizza, and she said it was the best so far. The...young lady I made the reservation with was pleasant, the man that greeted us and showed us our table was very nice, also the waiter, and the young woman clearing tables. We never had to flag down a staff member - they checked on us. The service was one of the best in our trip so far (31 days in). We usually don't go to big cities, but if we return to Napoli, we will return here.More

Clearly very attractive to tourists - the pizza was okay (having lived 20 years in Italy) but nothing exceptional. Poor service. Gets crowded very quick, we got there at opening and the restaurant got filled within 15 minutes. Had the diavola, which was disappointingly garnished...with very little salame... per picture attached. Would avoid going, and will recommend against going to any friends who ask.More

There are 3 Pizzerias you must visit when you come to Naples. L'Antica Pizzeria Port Alba, Pizzeria De Michelle, and Pizzeria Brandi. This is the history of Pizza all together in a single city. And all three are phenomenal. If they are the first, they...are one of the best so bank on that.More

We found it magical. Two years after our first visit (3 times now from Tokyo) they still remembered us. Definitely worth going to and the pizza is delicious. AND historica!

We ate many Pizza during our short stay and bumped into this historical Pizzeria purely bay chance. Only after did we learn that it was here that Pizza Margherita originated as the Queen visited and she said that it was her favourite Pizza out of...the three Pizza she was offered. The rest is history. The Pizza tasted exceptionally good as did my wife baby clams with spaghetti.More

On a Saturday walk we were looking for a restaurant for a late lunch and randomly found this place which is I think the guys who created the Margharitta pizza. We were on the first floor room, alone, which was nice for a lunch break...between Naples very busy town. The service was good, even close the end of his shift -which we didn’t know at first- the waiter was very patient and friendly. We tryed the All’Italia fried starters (very oily), a fried pizza (good bit a lot of doe but nothing worth the look for) and one with prosciutto & cheese (very standard and I don’t believe it was proscitto ham bit very normal one). It’s a good little place but not to be marked on your itinerary.More

Just what we were looking for. Spending a very short time in Naples we just wanted a nice pizza in an authentic place on a nice little street away from the main shopping area. Great value for money. Enjoyed the guy playing his guitar and...singing. Take your passport if you are a traveller, you must complete a form and can’t eat without evidence of your identity. A driving licence or credit cards is not sufficient.More

This place is lovely. Food is great and well priced. The only negative I have to say is that it is very enclosed.

We decided to go here following a recommendation from our hotel. We arrived at 6:30, shortly after they opened and sat down. We were served by a gentleman waiter who did not give us much time at all to peruse the menu. He also knew...very little English and we know very little Italian. There was another waitress who seemed to understand and speak English, however he continued to serve us. We ended up getting items on the menu which he had suggested and then said “leave it to me”. At this point we felt it was going to be an interesting evening. At the time we were ready to leave we were presented with the bill and when we stood to pay our bill by card downstairs, he advised us “cash here” and indicated to the table. He then repeated this and would not let us leave until we had left a tip. So 10€ later as this was the smallest bill in out wallet, we left feeling pretty frustrated. Service was rubbish and the food was nothing special. There was nothing special about this place and we regretted not going elsewhere where they let us eat what we wanted and didn’t request a tip after already charging a service fee.More
