Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Waiters were too busy playing on their phones to take orders. They brought me the wrong pizza while insisting it was correct (the one they gave me had ham on it when that wasn't what I ordered). The margherita was sloppy, soggy and wet. The...toilets had no paper in them and they charge a 15% service charge…awful, highly unrecommended despite all the good reviews here (maybe from people who haven’t tried real pizza).More

Not really good. We had fried pizza. At least 1/3 was pure bread with no filling. And the filling that was there was scant. Really nothing to recommend. But I can now say I've tried fried pizza.

Delicious Napoleon pizza that melts in your mouth. You can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients and the crust is incredibly soft and chewy.

Stopped here for what's reputed to be some of the best value street food. I wasn't disappointed. Everything was freshly made because there's such demand. We tried the croquettes, Frittatina (Neoploitan arancini), deep fried pizza and Margherita. All excellent, but the Frittatina was the best...I had all trip. The croquettes were a very close second.More

We were looking forward to experiencing this restaurant and were in line once it opened. The three of us headed up the stairs and were placed in the second last room, before the space with dishwasher one side and toilets on the other. There were...5 other tables crammed into the space. Please read carefully here. We had been at Pompeii and Herculaneum In the afternoon sun, 36 minimum, and the space seemed to have no air conditioning. Beside us was a group of three, one of whom had a very loud voice, and it filled the small space. Our grandgirlie , 15 yr old GG, had a headache, and the inconsiderate volume from the adjacent table, maybe acceptable in a crowded UK pub, was annoying to us all. After 15 minutes, realizing that no one in the previous room had even been served drinks, hence we were way down the line, we agreed to wait another 10, and as we did, and then, with a disappointed sigh, made our way back outside. The place has a great history and reputation, but it just was just not meeting our needs. If we come back, it will be in cooler weather, and we’d happily try again. Do try to avoid the final room, and best wishes to all who hold strong! Pirate 🏴‍☠️More

We are the friggatori snacks, they were so good, we kept eating them until we were so full we didn't need dinner! Arancini, frittatoria, crocchie. All on the bustling crazy Via dei Tribunals, and washed down with spritzes apperol and Maradona from the place next...doorMore

Came here because of guide book recommendations, quite disappointing. The dough of the pizza was lovely, but they used tinned mushrooms rather than fresh which was weird and their pizza fritte was really bad. It was just filled with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes, no sauce...which made it very dry and plain. Service was fine but a little rude. I would rather go to Sorbillo 38 on the same street, or Donna Sofia.More

Perpetually annoyed waiters, even simply in taking our order. When we called them, they walked past us pretending not to see or hear. In the moment we asked to change tables because the air conditioning was getting to our necks, one waiter's response was "No, and I don't know what to do with you if you're cold" although there was quietly the option of changing seats. If it were not located on a central, touristy street it would have closed by now.More

Delicious Neapolitan style pizza with a nice chewy crust and tasty sauce/cheese. Tried the Margherita and the street food "portfolio" version. Very good but didn't blow me away since it is the same quality as Neapolitan pizzas we can get in the NYC/NJ area, but...worth trying while in Naples.More

This is a difficult one to review, for the quality and taste of the pizzas, it's definitely a 5 star, the best ever...but for the customer service, a zero. Off hand, disinterested staff who obviously know that people will keep coming back for the pizzas,...so they don't have to bother trying to offer even the most basic customer service. So there's your choice, go for a yummy pizza, don't expect common courtesy and you won't be disappointed.More

Simple place but such a great pizza Everything we tryed was soo delicious. We ordered the Margarita and another that I can't remember there names. It was great. I didn't give 5 stars, because the waiter wasn't soo nice at the beginning. And because we...were sited at not very clean area.More

For me the best Pizza in Napoli. Traditional honest Pizza, in a simplistic environment, great ingrediance. The Kids loved it. It does not look from the outside that there is much seating looks more like a streetfood only place, which it also is. But don't...hesitate to skip the line, go to the front and ask for an indoor seating table. You can also have great appetizers like Mozzarella di Buffala with your meal.More

We came around 13.30 on a weekday and waited 30 mins in a crowded street, to be seated inside. Once inside we had to wait another 15 mins to order, another 20 for the pizza, and almost 25 mins for the bill and a takeaway...box. The pizza was delicious but not worth the wait unless you have no other plans for the afternoon.More

No sense of welcome, no welcome smile, you are not even told good evening, simply to go and sit at a table. The pizza products are of poor quality. Their awards for best pizza date back to 2011… At the table, you are served plastic...glasses to drink wine and when you ask for water it never arrives. The manager got angry when we shared our remarks complaining and demanding to pay. (and in particular the service). We left, the restaurant team insulted us. Very bad experience for a first day of vacation in Naples.More

This rather small and busy pizza restaurant is very popular also with the locals (a lot of Italian speaking guests). Arriving early we found seats on the first floor, and were quickly served with authentic Napoli pizzas. They were very good, the service, efficient. Ideal...for a quick early lunch on the goMore
