I’m not sure if it was language barriers or cultural differences, but I found the entire experience to be a disappointment. I placed an order — with noodles. We spent about 5 minutes going through every type of noodle with the server . I ordered...a beer, paid for everything, and went outside to sit down. I spilled the beer when I sat down due to the angle of the table, and ordered another one. The server brought over a plate of sauce, and clarified that no, I was not getting any noodles. Did I want some?! Too bad - also she claimed I had not paid and went through my receipt line by line in front of me while I attempted to eat my tattered remnants of sauce on a plastic plate. This went on and on for awhile until she “accepted” that indeed, everything was paid up . However, the spilt beer would not be “comped” - so I needed pay.right.that.very.second. At this point, I just gave up on any hopes of a decent dinner. It just made the entire experience a mouthwatering disappointment.More

Come here and taste the ragu with or without cheese , both good! Homemade wine is affordable and tasty. Vegan friendly and generally very friendly.

Delicious pasta! The Ragu and the Genovese are really the best sauces that we have ever tasted. The service was perfect. We've had parmigiana di melanzane con ragù, pasta with Ragu and pasta with Genovese. We also had a desert and limoncello. Everything was perfect!

It worth the fame. In Napoli we use to eat only pizza, but the Tandem ragu and genovese salce are a must to eat. Also their pasta and service are very good.

Really good home cooked ragu and wonderful meatballs. Service was very good by Naples standards, waiters were attentive and there wasn't a huge push by them to have us finish quickly despite having to turn would be diners away. Highly recommended!

Went here to have their “famous” ragu. Being vegan we ordered vegan ragu by asking in English, Italian and pointing at the menu item. The food arrived 10 mins later and had BEEF meatballs in. The menu says the dish is vegan and has seitan...in. The staff (young boys) couldn’t be bothered to be there and were not listening at all. We returned the food and they bought out the actual vegan ragu and did apologise. The taste was bland and we had to add salt which we had not done in any other restaurant in Naples. Also there were so few pieces of seitan it wasn’t worth putting any in there. When it came time to pay for the bill I got another apology which was appreciated and the taller of the boys asked if I wanted anything else gratis. We had 2 x limoncello. I would recommend vegans to avoid this restaurant.More

Authentic slow cooked Ragu over homemade pasta – really good. Bought some to take home. Outside seating, recommend a reservation even during Covid. €55 for two mains, 1/3 of vodka/Ragu appetizer, wine. Still a favorite place to eat.

Yet again a great meal at this popular restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent and the portion size is huge. It’s well worth booking in advance since this restaurant gets very busy.
