If you are looking for a place where eating delicious - family style - local food maybe after having visited 'Castel'Elmo' and/or the 'Certosa di San Martino', you have to stop here! This such a small friendly place offer great local foods with no surprise when you pay. What else? Just check it out and enjoy your meal!

Only go there if you like the charm of an authentic restaurant. Great and friendly owners serve what is in store, you generally have 2 choices. Food is good, delicious real italian food, red wine can be better but the ambiance made up for that. I would go there agian!

We went there for lunch, and we are used to the rush of Naples. But I had never been told to finish my food immediately because they want to take other customers. If I just want to fill my stomach, in worse case I buy a sandwich. If someone comes to your restaurant and stays for a reasonable time, you... More

New entry in the Slowfood Guide 2017, this osteria was created at the beginning of the 20th century. Good quality of home made dishes (provola, meatballs, alici…) and extremely cheap prices (€ 12 per person whatever you will choose). I tasted here the worst wine ever in my life (flavor of gun powder, maybe because of the fireworks of the... More

We were headed here based on T.A. reviews. As we were about to cross the street, a man from the neighborhood pointed us to it, said we should go there and that he was too. As we walked in, another local said "Good choice." And indeed it was. Other reviews have described it accurately. No menu. Lovely hostess asked which... More

This place is a mix between a french bistrot and the kitchen of my grandma: the boss is the man, his wife is in the kitchen and the daughter takes your order. The price for a complete luch is around 15 euro per person and it includes first, second course and side dish. I don't know if the wine is... More

A hearty home cooked meal in a tiny eight table dining room, with effectively no menu – just “pasta o zuppa?” and “bianco o rosso?” and a choice of four meat mains. So inexpensive we spent almost as much on cabs to get to and from the restaurant as we did on our meal. We were clearly dining with neighborhood... More

This place has very simple but delicious food, but overall the price of 12.50 eur is more than it should be. Similar places in lower town area will be cheaper. There is also no aircon so basically if it is a hot day you wont have a pleasant experience. The food is made by an indian cook managed by donna... More

I was the first diner at about 7:45 and treated to a charming set of interactions with the family. I speak a few words of Italian & no Neapolitan, so figuring out what to order with no printed menu was half the fun. For 12 euros I got a bottle of basic red wine, two courses and the chance to...
