Delicious boisterous place. It was so good we went twice during our stay in Naples. So busy that it was hard to get the waiter's attention, but they were friendly once they came over. Highlights were baccala and beef brasciole. Amazing lemon cake for dessert.

A very good table !

Delicious napoletane food, typical dishes you can’t miss in the middle of the centro storico ! It’s so good, the people so lovely that we came twice at this place during our stay in Naples.

Fantastic food and service

Saturday night walk-in, 7.30pm no reservation and immediately seated. Service was attentive and food was wonderful. Shared octopus starter and I had beef and meatball ragu, my wife had pasta dish. Bottle of house red which was great and €48 bill. Absolutely wonderful experience. Walked...past restaurant a couple of hours later and queued out. I’m not surprised. Timing is everything!More

Such good value and delicious, traditional food

Myself and my partner came for dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was such good value - mixed starter, 2 ragu’s, friarellei and wine came to €40. Would definitely recommend

Delicious

100/10!!!!!! We were in Naples for a week, we ate in more than 7 restaurants and Antica Tratoria da Carmine was the best! BIG dishes, unique flavors and the best service, highly recommended

Good meal, excellent value.

Really enjoyed the food here. Both food and wine were excellent value and would recommend this place. Service was okay, but that's what you expect in Naples!!

Great place to eat in Napoli

This restaurant is a great place to eat Neapolitan food. The food was great! Best buffalo mozzarella! Overall I highly recommend this place.

One of the places you have to visit in Naples

Delicious starters, perfect pasta and amazing lemon cake. Nice atmosphere and nice and friendly service. Definitely coming back and recommending to everyone. P.S. the extra parmesan on the side got me unguarded.

A really good trattoria

A little bit different, but extreamely good restaurant in the Napoli old town. The food is really good and don’t forget to order the sides, as they were truly worldclass

Reasonably priced good food

We felt fortunate to have a table open up because it was a crowded restaurant. I ordered the scaloppini and it was so delicious. The penne alla Carmine and the meatballs were a hit as well. The house wine was perfect with the meal as...was the limoncello and grappa Bianca.More

Antica Trattoria mon amour gourmet

This is the Place!!! Antica Trattoria doesn’t need to go to Masterchef… they are Masterchef since 4 generation…now the twins Maurizio e Giovanni are in charge… what to eat? Polpette al ragù to dream of… caserecce con provola affumicata… and for desser the best Babà….just...enjoy it!More

A fab local restaurant.

Really delicious food with a wide variety to choose from. We had salad, lovely grilled aubergines and courgettes and the pasta is divine. The service is good with a lovely waiter with a beard who was fab. It is also really well priced. We had...3 side dishes, 2 mains, a bottle of wine and a lime cello and it was only 45 euros. Just arrive by s7pm as tables fill up really fast.More

We were treated like family

We were welcomed into the restaurant like family, introduced to everyone, and were served a special Frutti di Mare that wasn’t even on the menu. Reset right outside of the restaurant and have a wonderful view of all the people walking by. Everyone was so...kind and joyful and took such pride in their restaurant. We loved it.More

Pleasant Enough

We had a pleasant dinner here on our first night in Naples. Antipasti were good and my partnetr loved her veal main. My grilled squid was beautiful to see and tasted good -- however, it was rather tough! Nevertheless, the wine was good and cheap...and the service efficient.More
