Next to Piazza Plebiscito is Grand Cafe Gambrinus with a extravagant interior. An unique place in Neapels to have a drink. Look at the ceilings. Brilliant. Make your choice of all sweets in the full packed showcases. Forget a moment the weight watchers intentions. Treat yourself this time.

We had after-dinner hot drinks here due to it's prominent location in the touristy area attracting our attention. The restaurant really stands out in terms of kerb-appeal and the atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant, although we had our drinks in the outside, more informal area. The menu selection for hot drinks is very interesting with a wide selection of... More

We stopped by after attempting to visit Napoli Sotteranea unsuccessfully. The wait staff was generous enough to allow us to wait on their outdoor patio while we were trying to get our tour sorted out so we decided to return and have some lunch. The Waiters were very nicely outfitted in suits and were prompt with their service. We were... More

We opted to sit in an a drizzly day after I had heard previous about this café. A little above the normal rate (still cheaper than mediocre coffee in Dublin by the way!) but worth every penny for the grandeur and quality of it all. My girlfriend had a coffee with nut cream and I had a coffee con panna.... More

An excellent cup of coffee and wonderful cakes. This place is a must to see. Beautiful with white jacketed waiters and an antidote to the graffiti and mess of the city. Service is chaotic but doesn't matter.

Lovely cafe in the heart of the city, you can enjoy a lot of pastries with a cup of coffee. The service is excellent. Don't miss it!

Went there for breakfast and the selection was overwhelming. So many pastries to choose from. The best is the fragolina, tiny strawberries, in small tarts. Then you still have room for something else. Coffee a double hit of espresso with a dollop of steamed milk - what a way to start the day!

This lovely cafe is not far from the Bay of Naples. Our table looked out on a stately piazza. The aperitifs were served with a generous selection of finger food.

Gabrinus is definitely the best place to enjoy an espresso in Naples. Located ne to to Piazza Plebiscito, the heart of the town, it is a place you cannot miss. Go inside, take a coffee at the bar and go on with sight seeing. You won't regret!

Very busy in a great venue. The ice cream is delicious, though they weren't too keen to mix the flavours. Each to their own!
