The service was a disaster waited for the food forever, when arrived 3/6 get their food, after another 15 min two more dishes arrived and the last one got her food when everyone already finished. Very unpleasant treatment.

Our first night in Napoli. We came across the place and seemed very authentic and we wanted to have local dishes in trattoria. When we entered nobody came to welcome us and offer us a table. We just stud there and they just passed by....We then saw a free table and took a sit. A waitress came with menus and we ordered a bottle of water. After 10 min we got water but without glasses. Finally we ordered 3 antipasti(starters) and 3 secondi piatti. They bring us 2 starters only. After 10 min they bring the third and one big plata with mix food. We called the waitress and said to her that it is not our plata. She started arguing with us that we ordered antipasto do casa. So they named the most expensive starter starter of the house, so when you just say the word starter or antipasto, they will brig you that dish. A pure scam that we did not want to take. At one moment the old boss came to our table and very mad and rude took all our dishes away. We were very confused, but after 10 minutes they bring our 3 main dishes. Except bolognese pasta everything was of an average taste. You have to be very careful because they use language barrier to try to scam you. Also the table behind us was arguing about the bill. So avoid the place. The hospitality in the hole city is very poor, but this place was the worst.More

Right in the thick of things, this restaurant is a great place to people watch. There is the option to sit inside, but we preferred to be outside street side in the noise and bustle. We ate here a few times during our trip to...Naples and found the service good and and the food reasonably priced. The food was delicious and we can highly recommend the seafood pastas (especially the Vongole).More

Possibly the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. We ordered 2 starters and 2 pasta courses. One starter arrived ok - a rather over salted calamari frutti - but no sign of the other starter - we were eventually told they had run out too late...to order another starter. Next only one pasta dish arrived - no sign of the second - they had made a mistake and we only got the second dish more than 25 minutes after the first. When we tried to pay the bill was not correct and they were so rude to us. But on the tables around us the story was not much different; an uncooked fish sent back to the kitchen and a main course that never arrived. Perhaps a bad day but not a friendly place to visit.More

Recommended by our (seemingly sophisticated) B&B host, we went here for our wedding anniversary. Such a disappointment. The service was mediocre at best, dismissive at worst. The order was only half written down. Of the secondi patti, the tuna steak did not seem at all...fresh, the pork was incredibly tough, the fried potatoes were completely flaccid and the broccoli we ordered was not broccoli at all but spinach. When we queried this we were told it was “Broccoli Napolitana”. Disrespectful rubbish. Believe the other 1* reviews. Avoid.More

I was with a large party and not one of us enjoyed our meal. The pasta was undercooked (beyond Al dente) and the mussels in the frutta di mare did not taste fresh. The ragu was tough and flavourless. The waiters also seemed vaguely irritated...that we existed. Not sure why the good reviews?More

This Osteria has been going for 75 years and I'm not surprised. Delicious traditional Neapolitan family cooking - a standout dish was a casserole of octopus in a tomato sauce. The sauce was intense from long slow cooking, and the octopus meltingly tender. A real...'wipe the plate clean' dish. Homemade cannoli excellent too. A full 3-course meal for two with a good bottle of wine (not house) came to €74, great value. Friendly attentive service as well.More

Went to this restaurant my first night in Italy and almost cried over how amazing it is! We had the Scialatielli and we’re completely blown away. Went back again today and had another good experience! My boyfriend and I have tried three different pastas so...far as well as two different starters and the tiramisu (which is some of the best I’ve ever had!) and so far everything has been delicious. Truly worth going to, will be going again before we leave Napoli for sure! (PS, I never leave reviews, but this place was so good I just had to!)More

Antica Osteria Pisano Napoli I wrote a detailed description of our experience at this restaurant but I accidentally erased it and now a couple days later the details are gone. I’m happy I took photos though and Jose, our waiter was very good. I enjoyed...the fresh ricotta pie and cooked escarole! Both-Extremely tasty! The other item marked was my husband’s and he was very satisfied. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for quality, taste, service and attention to detail. The only negative would have been lack of water in the restroom to wash hands.More

Excellent food, location and the antipasto sampler was amazing!!! We was three ppl and we didn’t finish all because it was a lot!!! Súper recomendable!!!!
