Lack of attention from the waiter! The both waiters were more interested of having a chat than serving the guests. The waiter did not know how to smile. The food was OK.

We tried to go here one night and were told to wait while they cleared a table for us. We waited about 10 minutes while the waiters just kept looking at us waiting. An older waiter asked what we were doing and we told him...another waiter had said he would clear a table for us. This waiter was so rude and laughed telling us that he would clear it ‘when I feel like it’. They took the dirty tablecloth off the table and then told us to sit down (they hadn’t replaced the tablecloth). We then waited over 10 minutes for a menu (while a random man was going around the tables singing and then asking us for money with the staff encouraging it). So after waiting so long with no one giving us a menu we left. There were a few bigger tables there so maybe they ignored us as we were only a couple? We managed to find a great place where we were treated with respect in the Quartiere Spagnoli. AVOID!More
I had a nice walk with my girlfriend along the sea and we decided to have a late dinner. The restaurant had some table available and upon asking availability they told us to wait 5 minutes until they prepare table which was not a problem....Another waiter came and look at us asini what do we want and we replied we are waiting to get the table clear for dinner, he answered and I quote “ Lo faccio quando ho voglia” which was very disrespectful. We eventually sat down. We waited 10 minutes to have a table cloth and menu which never arrived. I can’t comment on food as we did not arrive that far because we left and for sure I will never go there again. If they did not want us or they were too busy we could understand and find something else. A recommendation to the elderly waiter, a smile and a polite answer does not cost you anything at all. Hopefully the management take this review seriously and will take action because I have never ever been treated like that.More
If you’re a tourist don’t go here. They won’t respect and hardly serve you. My pasta was uncooked and had empty shells. We waited 20 mins for the receipt and we asked for 4 times.
Far less showy than the places on the seafront, this restaurant is frequented by locals and makes you feel at home. Excellent pizzas and pastas for less than 10 euros and great selection of vegetable sides - the eggplant parmesan is particularly delicious. We ate...here several times.More
We sat outside on a beautiful day for lunch. We each had pizza, and it was the best we had while in Italy. Took our time and enjoyed every last bite!
Tables spill onto the pavement of the via Santa Lucia up the hill from the livelier seaside promenade. Not just pizza but that’s what we had and it was really very good: chewy and quite distinctive flavoured dough and very good quality toppings. Not fine...dining by any means and you might have to put up with a couple of stray dogs wandering around the tables but relaxed place to have a relatively cheap dinner. Good house red wine available by the jug. Limited choice of desserts but tiramisu was good and generous portion.More
Really nice and warm place. Small quantity of food, quite expensive (2 pizzas and one beer 28€) and average service.
Had a margherita pizza with mozzarella. It was very delicious. I went here because it was recommended by a local person. I chose to dine in and took the leftover back to my hotel. Service was okay. I asked for a receipt and he made...me enter my email into the credit card machine. Well, I never got the receipt.More
A very good pizza in Naples, surely traditionally made. Nice restaurant with tables inside and outside. Very good the desserts. I’ve rated 4 stars just because was there for a business lunch and honestly I think this is quite better for an informal meeting or...with friends. In any case, it as been a good experience and I was totally satisfied from the dishes served.More
We ate here two years on our first day in Naples. After eating pizza every day for four days, I believe this is the best pizza I ever eaten. Surprisingly, I found this place again! I didn't remember the name of the restaurant, only the...location. Two years of telling our family and friends about the best pizza in Italy? It ttruly is the best pizza, this time I took several pictures, including one with the chef. Our service was good and food was delicious and tasty.More
Ok, so you ask for a pizza provencale: with capers, olives and anchovies. You receive a pizza with half an anchovy and 200 tomatoes. Good luck with that. Never had a pizza with no cheese? Try this.
It's not the menu that's so distinctive and delicious (classic Southern Italian), it's the FOOD. Situated in the Santa Lucia district near the harbor walk, this is neighborhood gem that's loved by the locals but very comfortable for tourists. It's reasonably priced, very pretty (try...to sit outside) and the food is superb. Very fresh, top quality ingredients, simple, with a menu equally balanced between pizza, seafood, pasta and meats. Plus there's a good selection of wines and beers. It can get crowded after sundown, but worth waiting.More
Great little restaurant, with delicious pizza! We had arrived in Naples pretty late at night so were delighted to find Ettore open(recommended by our B&B host) and were even more delighted when our food arrived. Absolutely divine. Highly recommend!
We had a green salad with fennel. The caprese salad was the best we had in Italy. I would recommend the eggplant parmesan pizza. It was delicious. 1/2 L of house red. It was chilled. We found that all of the red wine we ordered...in Naples came slightly chilled. For dessert we had something like cream filled little donuts. They were delicious. The service was good and on the professional side of surly. A good dinner and great time.More
