The walk up to Il Mulino is beautiful, and you get out of the hectic piazza in Amalfi. The pasta fagioli is the best I ever had in my life....by far!

The pasta with the fish was great and also the fish in the oven was very fresh. The stuff were very kind to us. Its only a few minutes walk from the busy city center and it didn't feel like all the other touristic restaurants.

We had a few hours in the Amalfi and needed a place to lunch. We couldn't find anything that caught our interest in the myriad of restaurants around the main square (some couldn't even define correctly between a pizza Margherita and a Neapolitan) so we kept walking, and so glad we did! Away from all the shops as the crowds... More

Run by a very kind family this trattoria gives you the opportunity to eat very well paying very reasonable prices. Where local people go for dinner normally means good food/price and Il Mulino is not the exception of the rule. I specially recommend the home made pasta with seafood.

We came here for a vacation during the slow months of winter season. City was quiet with a lot of places that were closed. We were glad to find this place. Friendly family owned business. Because it was a slow month they only offered pizza, but it was totally worth it. One of the best food choices in Amalfi!!!

It's a bit of walk up the road to the restaurant. But the food is much better than many of the restaurants In the main square. The pasta is fresh and the prices are reasonable.

Quite simply the best meal I have ever had! So nice that I went back three more times in the space of a week. The Homemade pasta with seafood was out of this world! Make the effort and visit this restaurant!

Worth walking 10 minutes from the main piazza to find this place. We had great sea food, and lovely service in an unpretentious setting. Recommended by the Rough Guide as the place where locals go, but there was only one local couple - all the rest of us were North American or English.

If you like authentic Italian pasta and seafood you have to eat here. The house wine is excellent and the food was awesome. Simple, basic ingredients is always the best. If you agree then try this place, it will not disappoint!

A late lunch after walking the streets of Amalfi. Didn't really expect much but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of these home made pasta dishes. The Clams in lemon sauce was outstanding! Excellent value and great people. Worth giving it a go.
