When you ask where to go for the best paella in Valencia this place gets more mentions than many of the others. And rightly so. We went on a Saturday afternoon and as far as I could make out most of the diners were locals, which is never a bad sign. The place is not much to look at from... More

I ate here with a friend. She was really enthousiastic about the ambiance and the paella. I was not blown away, seemed a little too touristic. The paella was very good though. It was a little expensive, for I am a student. Overall experience: good.

I've been there twice while I was in Valencia, and I tried the paella valenciana and the seafood paella, both of them came after 45 mins..then we asked twice for some butter and it came after reminding to the waiter. No good desserts..

We went here because the reviews were so good and we wanted to have a traditional Valencian paella. What a disappointment. Lots of food for the price, but everything bland. Will have to go back to Valencia and try another paella because I refuse to believe that this is the dish that everyone has such a high impression of. Don't... More

The food is good, not excellent. The personell and the furniture the same, good , but not excellent. I do not have a comparison about the prices with other restaurantes, but to me they looks ok. The overall consideration is ok, but I would like to taste somo better restaurant. I mean that, if I order a Paella with sea... More

There is a reason why paella should be eaten in Valencia. But this is the best place to have paella and typical Valencian food in the city. It is family run, in a historic place, and walls full of ceramic plates. Try the Valencian Esgarraet and the traditional Valencian Paella. This is really authentic!

Booked a lunch here to celebrate our anniversary. We knew the Paella would be good when they told us it would be about 40 mins because they're all made from scratch. No problem, nice Jerez Fino followed by a bottle of wine whilst waiting. Excellent paella, mostly locals and good service. Management even provided a bottle of complimentary fizz.. Highly... More

We had paella here on our first night in Valencia - cod and vegetables and it was truly delicious. The service was really good and the restaurant is beautiful and full of character as it's a family run business.

Paella should be eaten in Valencia. You can find it in every restaurant but there are only few restaurants which are the best. I think this is nr 1 paella restaurant. Family run, historic place, walls full of ceramic plates, two floors. They also serve other dishes, I recommend typical valencian Esgarraet as a starter. Paella de verduras was extremely... More
