The restaurant is clean, the decor reminding you of its history. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered in advance and had the arroz melozo de confit de pato. It was amazing! Generous portions of duck and well balanced flavor.

Whilst the service was friendly and quick, the food was mostly tasteless. In valencia for 3 weeks (return journey) and walked past restaurant almost every night. Always empty, void of any local people....which like us means customers never return. Expensive and a waste of money....Menu del dias in remote areas are a lot tastier and by far much better vale for money.More

Paella rice not properly cooked. Strong burned taste. Waiter friendly explained this was the proper method and Valencian style. What would Ramsey tell us and the chef?

We were travelling with a tour group and arrived on a Saturday night for dinner. The restaurant served us their so-called Valenciana paella. Rice was blend; my parents and others also tasted stale oil in the rice (this isn’t our first time having paella in...Spain). It was only 9pm when we were there but the restaurant was empty, no locals and just lots of empty tables (unless the restaurant was closed to the public just to serve us LOL). Service is very unorganized (waitress bought us food but not utensils) and sometimes was rude (literally dropping plates down HARD) Is this place on its decline...More

Our first night in Valencia, booked restaurant ahead of the trip and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered croquettes and a goats cheese filo pastry starter followed by lamb cutlets for mains. Dessert was a shared chocolate brownie with ice cream. This was washed down with local...wine. Meal was very good, and service also good. Cost was reasonable. The room was very ornate, stripped back to the original brick work. Recommend.More

Seemed to me the system was designed to inflate our bill. First we were urged to have a starter "as the fideua would take about 30 minutes to prepare". Fine, okay. Then we were offered bread rolls (we hadn't asked for them). "How nice, thank...you!" They took our order for two fideuas wrong. They brought us a fideua and a paella. We insisted on our order, but the waiter appealed for us to take the paella, otherwise it would be a long wait with half of our order ready. Okay then. The relieved waiter promised a complimentary dessert to compensate. After we took our desserts we were charged for them all AND for the bread rolls! It ended up being the most I've ever paid for 4 persons in a restaurant, and I left with a sour taste because of all these incidents. The food was okay.More

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Our food was delicious (fish of the day & paella) & the local wine was good too.
