We came here because we wanted pizza and it was top of the reviews. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Tuesday night but don’t let that put you off, the locals don’t generally go out on a week night. The pizza...was first class, it’s a lovely family business and the older gentleman that we believe is the owner is very welcoming. Visited Monday 21st October in the evening after a day sightseeing a casual dinner from a highly rated Trip Advisor Italian was all we wanted. Rarely do I give a poor review but something has gone wrong here. Apart from it being out in the...suburbs on a busy main road with little parking the large restuarant on our arrivel had no other customers, not one ? We sat in disbelief but thought it would fill up soon (this was at 8.30), anyway ordered Couple of garlic breads which were ok being 2 slices of baguette with nice cheese but the main courses were shocking, my Calzone was more like a large flat empanada made from pastry not pizza dough ? My wife had spagetti carbonara which was cold in the middle and tasted like a kids tinned meal ? Bryan Adams was blasting out his greatest hits which I asked them to turn down which they did and that made the TV that was also on seem even louder ? We couldn't wait to get out, However I will mention the place was very clean, the staff and owner were very nice and friendly. An hour after arriving we left with still no sign of any other customers. It's the first time we have been let down by reviews, Google also rated this place ? I hate leaving negative reviews but will not be going back.More

11 of us visited the pizza house and had a lovely meal. Rustic, tasty, happy to deviate from menu if request with pizza toppings. Reasonable prices, salads fantastic as were the fried potatoes and dip. The staff are the best bit... couldn't do enough to...make sure everyone is ok and happy with food.More
