Everything was perfect! It a cozy place, the host is very polite, the temperature was perfect. We went there any used Groupon ticket and the attendance was not different from the others. The "croquetas" was the best I ever had and the hamburguer was well done. I can't complain about anything. I would come back, for sure!

A party of three friends went to this restaurant one of those days you wake up craving for an excellent hamburguer. The fact that they advertise themselves by offering Kobe meat made us decide to try this restaurant. Unfortunately the hamburguers tasted just ok. Very dissapointing. The restaurant itself is quite dark and trashy.

Relies along one of the best burgers in Madrid. A great variety of delicious burgers. I ate a Phillies burgers that was really good and had Philadelphia cheese. Prices are around 13 euros for burgers but you can ask for offers with Eltenedor.com

Hamburgers were really delicious, very good quality meat (although I do not think it is kobe meat at all). Paying €13-15 for one hamburger is quite expensive if you realize that you can get a decent hamburger in the area for €6-7. The place is pretty cozy, but the service is not great.

Daniel, I disagree completely!! 11-16€ for a 100% Kobe burger is cheap! Plus our combinations are not your usual BLT Burger! The Covarrubias restaurants decor is one of Madrid's finest! And do you really think that for 6€ ya can get a decent burger? No way Jose! In any case we hope ya had a great time in Madrid &... More

I love a good burger and after reading the reviews about this burger joint, I decided to try it out with some friends. To be quite honest: I have no clue what the fuss is about! The atmosphere of the restaurant: about average. It has a bit the look and feel of a Hard Rock Cafe, yes that's nice. But... More

Its a real shame that you weren't able to tell your waiter that the burger was not prepared to perfection. We serve over 5000 burgers a month in our Covarrubias restaurant. If you had made your ooint to your waiter, the same way you have written a negative review on TripAdvisor,, our chef would have done his best to get... More

If you're planning on going to madrid you MUST go to Pecado Carnal. The food & the ambience are simply unexpected ... And then at midnight a live band plays downstairs... It's exactly what one would expect from the hard rock but does not get! The food is great... Kobe Homemade Burgers with a Japanese fusion... Great Spanish wines and... More

Staying in Plaza Santa Barbara in Madrid stumbled upon this restaurant about 5 minutes walk from Alfonso Martinez metro station. My husband booked by telephone and so glad we did. The teenage sons had the steak which at 19Euros was great value, the husband had the Kobe steak at 40Euros, which whilst you are paying for the Kobe meat, was not... More

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
