I attended for dinner, as part of a large group. The tapas served was outstanding, and the Rioja amongst the best I've ever tasted. The surroundings of the private dining room made for an enjoyable experience with a historic feel.

Traditional restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service. We were a group of 20 with no pre ordered dishes and were served very well.

We had a meeting dinner with close to 20 people. Food consisted of preselected tapas and a choice of lamb or fish for main course. Tapas was largely varied and very tasty. I had lamb as mains and was very satisfied with it too. We came in a little early and I was slightly worried when there didn't seem to... More

Daily basque eating with everyday recipes without pretense. Family atmosphere. All generations. Family run and staffed. Well priced. Good food and wide range. Can't miss.

Visited the Jai-Alai restaurant this past April 2015. In a quite traditional setting, we had very good food and service was efficient. This is a good place for a business lunch, not so much if you are looking for a modern setting or a couples night out.

After signing the contract we had excellent lunch @ Jai-Alai. Perfect service, excellent ham and squid as starter and a fantastic steak as main course. Value price for service and food quality. Will return once I get back...

We were looking for a special lunch with no reservation and found just the perfect restaurant in every way! Food, customer service, presentation, atmosphere and attention to detail were perfect and we were made feel like valued clients rather than the walk-ins we were, Not funky, but family run and traditional with all the fresh ingredients and care that makes... Given the ratings from Tripadvisor I really expected much more from this place: atmosphere was nice and staff friendly, but the food really missed the expectations. We had a small mushrooms soup as starter, and then meat or fish to choice; I had fish and it was Hake, tasty but really simple. Meat was reported to be cold from some... More

The old-fashioned wooden-panelled gentlemen club style of the saloons might not suit everyone taste but I liked it myself personally. A large group on a set menu is usually a recipe for unexciting culinary experiences... and so this time was. Bacalao-stuffed peppers were OK (but I found a bone in one of them) as a starter and then Merluza with... More

Went here for lunch on a great day and sat upstairs with the windows wide open. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Good menu with lots if tapas choices to share before a main course. Enjoyed the speciality of squid in black ink sauce although it looks a bit scary. I would look forward to going back.
