Dont´ be deterred: both the building and the location near the Plaza de Espana underpass are unattractive, but once you step inside, it´s a real find. It´s a perfect place for a cosy dinner in a kind of updated Spanish country-house style atmosphere including contemporary wall art and photography (rather more pretentious than interesting but still decorative). It´s a big... More

This place tries very hard. They do some good things. The service is attentive, the ambiance has a local feel, the complementary starter dish is a pleasant surprise. The food however is just average, nothing to rave about. Altogether our evening was pleasant enough, but the place is not on our return list.

Stopped in without reservations and had a very good dinner. The menu is on a tablet where you can select your language and get the proper description of what is in the dish. For those of us that do not speak Spanish - that was entirely awesome.

I found it quite difficult to rate this place. It has a nice ambience but the food just wasn't for us. I had lamb chops and asked for vegetables with it. What I got was 4 miniature lamb chops (really hard work to get a decent amount of meat off them) and a few thin vegetables deep fried in batter... More

We only wanted to taste the famous Spanish churros with chocolate here as we stayed in the neighbourhood and passed the place many times and we're attracted by the aquarium at the restaurant entrance. It was a good choice! The churros and chocolate tasted good and the service was nice. We even got photographed by the waitress.

We popped into this restaurant after watching the flamenco show nearby. The menu was on an ipad which was quirky. After a little mix up with drinks, we were treated to a lovely meal. I had the steak which was lovely and my sister had the oxtail stew. Both were completely devoured. We also got a few complimentary extras which... More

This is a rather large restaurant with a very friendly staff. The English menu was on an iPad type tablet. I thought this was unique. We were with French friends who didn't speak English or Spanish, so the waiter did some good pantomiming. Other than the bad bread (our French friends were bakers) the meals were delicious. No one knew... More

Great customer service here from a lovely lady with dark hair, who went out of her way to help us with our breakfast selection. Cooked breakfast , eggs and bacon, hot drink and orange juice for 4 euros and 50 cents.

Great place with a good atmosphere to grab a bite after the Las Tablas flamenco show upstairs. Really friendly staff and what we ordered was tasty. The grilled vegetables were spot on. They bring you an aperitif which you are later charged for but we didn't have a problem with that as it was tasty! Other places do the same... More

On a trip to Madrid stopped in for a lunch with our tour group. The restaurant served 26 of us and the service was great and the paella was great. I think it is a great place to eat.
