We go to this little hole not the all for beer, wine and mushrooms. Thats all they serve. I would not go all the way to Madrid and skip this little gem. It's a must do in Madrid.

We received a recommendation from a local person about the restaurant and we were not disappointed... We enjoyed every bite of every dish and the local beer that came at the right temperature The stuffed mushrooms were as amazing as the anchovies and fried calamari...More

If you love mushrooms, this is the place for you. But it is busy and cramped, so expect to be shoulder to shoulder with other friendly mushroom eaters at this atmospheric cave under the Plaza Major. fast and friendly service.

We had the mushrooms- they were good We had the mixed jamon with cheese and it was good. The bread was slightly stale. The inside ceiling and walls are interesting. Good idea not well executed.

Normally I do not eat champions. Except this one what I found here only. The combined taste of mushroom, meat, spices and olive oil is simply delicious. Together with traditional green roasted peppers and a glass of wine makes this tapas stay unforgotten. A crowd...More

I think they may be one of the best things I have ever eaten. I loved the peppers, too. But I will be dreaming of mushrooms until I can go back and have them again!!!

This is a must-stop. Grab a pitcher of sangria, some mushroom tapas and some pimientos de Padrón! They are all amazing! The best little tourist trap in Madrid. Enjoy.

Hidden gem. The mushrooms are to die for. Delicious. They will show you the "proper" way to eat them. Going back again tonight!

Best mushrooms in town. Great wine, other tapas. Such a funky small space, with old coots playing the organ, ceramic mushrooms on the wall. Excellent service. A must go for tapa hopping!

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as

I am not sure of the hours but they were open during the day around lunch time through late at night. Several times when we walked by they were open. I hope you stop in!
