We have visited this restaurant several times. - Each visit, food is continuously great. - The outdoor seating is nice even during hot days, and is appreciated during these covid times. - I don’t find prices to be high. Average price per item (usually big...enough to share) is €18. - Service is fast and servers are nice - The quality of the ingredients is superb! - The menu has a great variety of choices (fish, veggies, meats) - We’ll keep on coming back! 🙂More

This restaurant offers a modern twist on a traditional Spanish tapas bar - it is trendy, contemporary and the food is good. On the downside, portions are small while the prices are a bit high.More

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I called in to book a table on our first night in Madrid, this contemporary restaurant was less than 10 minutes walk from our apartment. Excellent tapas, great wine, good service and well priced. I would definitely recommend.

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Madrid as we were staying in a hotel close by. What struck us most was the innovation in food presentation as art, the obvious high quality of the ingredients and overall great flavors in the meal....The sepia in squid ink in black rice was particularly exciting. It was crowded on a Monday night so its reputation has clearly spread in a city where there are probably thousands of choices.More

It's our favorite place to bring family and friends when they visit us in Madrid. The host and waiters are really friendly and attentive, and the food is a mixture between traditional flavors with an exquisite touch. I recommend the tuna tartar, the meatballs and...the carrilladas al curry. The torrija de sobao is an excellent desert.More

A truly wonderful experience - we selected an ice cold Spanish Gewürztraminer which perfectly complemented our bravas, a large plate of artichokes with pesto and delicious pulpo Gallega. Rounded off the meal with the chocolate lovers option which was superb and the French toast -...add in very professional service from Pablo and you have the perfect evening. Make sure it is on your dining list or you will be missing something very special...More

We chose dinner at Cachivache because it was not too far from our hotel on the northern side of Madrid. Its ranking is probably based on its location, that it is not in a highly touristy part of Madrid, but if you happen to be...in this area, I would highly recommend this restaurant. 5 of us ate dinner with 2 bottles of wine and multiple tapas for around 200 euro. Let me say that the octopus was the most tender and flavorful octopus that I have ever had in the world. We loved it so much that we had every octopus dish on the menu. Many of the meals were served with variety of potatoes prepared in different ways, roasted, fried, shredded, all delicious. The tuna tartare is flavorful with a little acidic bite to it. The chicken liver pate is on a bed of julienned peppers and a hard cracker.More

Great place for tapas. Good quality food with good options although the options for vegetarian were limited. We had the egg with truffle and parmesan, which was good. Friendly staff and nice place for dinner. All in all a good eat.
