Pleasant location on busy a street corner in Aguelles, an upscale residential neighborhood with many outdoor cafes. Food predictable but well prepared, . Server started harried and uninterested, and became sarcastic and bordeline hostile when asked to explain the menu. When asked about the beers, pointed to a logo on the wall...

I've been here yesterday and took a Sangria + toasts and it was really good. Multiple choices of really affordable toasts. For less than 5€ you get a good one ! + they give you tapas with your drink, and patatas with your toast !

Found this place just walking out and about and we dove in. We ordered 2 Hamburgesa Clasica and 2 Hamburgesa Bacon, they were phenomenal. The portions were good, the tap canas were very good and for the 4 of us including 2 beers was 41 euros. Staff was fast, efficient and friendly. A little grown up but still kid friendly.

Since managers are lazy you can see them talkig too much but just one waitress doing all the hard job, waiters worked to much so the good ones are gone. Now place is dirtier, food used to be good but now is very worst than years ago.

Staying in Arguelles

Neighbourhood Profile
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
