Wow! I wasn't expecting such a good experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and had a wide variety of dishes to choose from. But the service was top customer service. So friendly and welcoming, which was a breath of fresh air now I live in Madrid and service isn't always at its best. It's a bit pricey but... More

We had dinner at Galileo's SushiOlé and overall the experience was excellent. Cosy place, very good service (they gave us a table 20min before the time we reserved for) and quick service. The food was amazing, mostly my tempura! Strongly advice!

We came in asking for a table in the terrace, and they said there were non. We kindly suggested that there was a guy leaving a table, so we did sit down. Food was average, not bad. However, the service is terrible. They took away our glasses without offering anything else to drink. They brought the check without asking for... More

This place really deserves 3 1/2 stars. We tried the sushi here one weekend and it was about what I expected for Madrid. The service was great though, and the appetizer (tempura salmon) was very good. Sushi is also expensive in Madrid. If I go back, I'd try other things on the menu other than just the sushi. It's just... More

Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
