This was my second Korean cuisine experience. Didn't play with food on the grill this time. It was late so we just had a soup for a late dinner. I'm looking for the next chance to try such restaurant because I enjoyed a lot their concept.

We are restaurant owner in France and like eating Korean food. We found this restaurant and went there to taste. We didn't regret it. It was nice, food is good.

It is surprise that there is Korean BBQ in Madrid. The staff was very nice and helped us they can even they do not know how to speak English. The staff also helped us to cook the meat. Also, they allowed you to cook your own meat on the grill. I ordered three orders of Pork belly, one beef rib,... More

Really tasty, authentic and well cooked food, plus an excellent service. The staff was very nice and helpful all the time and kindly adapted my bibimbap to make it vegetarian. We were a group of ten and shared all the starters of the menu, so we tried everything and everything was delicious. Very happy! I´ll come back.

We had never tried Korean food before, but normally really enjoy flavours of Asia so thought we would give this place a try. Quite unassuming, decor wise, but pleasant enough. There was a steel plate in the middle of the table, which when lifted off revealed your own gas grill for cooking meats etc to your liking! Loved this idea!... More

This is the best Asian restaurant I’ve eaten in Spain. After teaching English for two years in Asia, then making the transition to Europe the food is the main thing I miss. I found considering the Spanish don’t have a particularly spicy palette, authentic Asian food is pretty thin on the ground in this country, and most restaurants have lost... More

I was craving for korean food after 2wks of spanish food so I took tripadvisor advice and thank goodness I did. First I was so surprised to see so many nonkoreans(in fact no we were the only Koreans) enjoying Korean dish. Second, the food was great!! My expectations were very low since I have traveled many places in the world... More

I saw a bus full of Koreans coming to this restaurant, so I thought: It can't be bad. Knowing that Asian food in Spain is nothing exciting, I venture to try it. And it was as great surprise! The taste is similar to these restaurants to Korean Town in NYC and I can say that it is definitely no one... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Walking into this neighbourhood is like entering a different country ... except it's hard to tell which one it is. One side of Calle Lavapiés is lined with Indian restaurants, the other with kebab shops. Men in traditional African clothing convene outside their businesses for long chats, and people shout to each other across plazas and streets. Interspersed among ethnic specialty shops are independent theaters and dance studios, and two large arts and cultural centers — the beautiful Casa Encendida and the Tabacalera, a former tobacco factory — all of which attract young crowds. Along Calle Argumosa, the place to go for drinks, artists and art appreciators with piercings and dreadlocks convene in the street’s eclectic array of young, hip bars. Though some of the side streets can get a little seedy at night, Lavapiés is still the place to go for those seeking a unique blend of arts and culture in an international and funky neighbourhood.
