We were deceived by the high ratings on Tripadvisor. The place is extremely noisy and crowded, no distance is observed between people. The food was average, the service was not good. I do not recommend it.
I came here for my first time last week and had one of the best Mango Margaritas I’ve ever tried. The food is outstanding, the service is also outstanding, and our waiters Gianfranco and Nico made the experience the best it could be.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have come 3 times in one week and bring all of my friends. Nico and Gianfranco are so welcoming! The food is incredible and the mango margaritas are the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!!!
We’re so glad we followed tripadvisor recommendation and went to this amazing restaurant!
First, the place give you an impression of holidays: bright, with lots of vegetation, sand on the floor, surf videos on tv screen and chill music.
Second, the food was absolutely delicious!!!...Definitely recommend the catchapa and the dessert tres letche which both have a lots of savor (from Venezuela). The juice were also really good, I got a crush on the mango fresa one!
And last but not least, our Waiter Abner was absolutely lovely with us, always with the smile on :)
Definitely recommend !!More

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —
side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.

This is a pretty casual place that is trying to drum up some business on a very saturated street. I don't think they'd give any one hard time for apparel. The wait staff is friendly, helpful, and knows English. They had a live performance the night we went that was pretty good- I would try to go when they have live music, especially if it's just for drinks. This place seems like more of a cocktail bar, but I did see people ordering draft beers. I think just drinks would be okay, but I feel like it would be hard not to be tempted by the food menu. The taqueños and cachapas were amazing!
