I am always skeptical of any restaurant right near a major attraction, in this case the Reina Sofia. But as we strolled past we took a good look at the food others were enjoying and thought it was worth trying. The pasta was nicely dente,...More

It so happened it was Sunday and the restaurants that were open were packed, so we opted for Trattoria Pinocchio as they still had seats. No surprises when it came to food. Portions were ample and tasty, as Italian food should be. Service was very...More

The service was very good but the food was regular. The pasta arrabiata was average and the four cheese tortiglioni wasn’t very tasty.

Just go and enjoy. The food was great and we went back two nights later. It was better the second trip. Eat outside and enjoy watching the kids play in the plaza, the youngster court and the locals pass by.......we were amazed at the number...More

Good Italian food that is not just pizza. Kid friendly and reasonably priced. Close by the Reina Sofia Museum. Our Euro friends like it a lot as do our kids. Has been here at least 30 years.

Great food, attentive service and a super location in a square right by the Reina Sofia museum. I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in Madrid and would recommend unreservedly.

Description
Nice and cozy pizzeria and trattoria just opossite the Reina Sofia Museum. Excelent views from its outside tables. We have been serving Italian homemade food for more than twenty years, and also Spanish specialities and drinks (sangria, tinto de verano, etc.). Our kitchen is open all day long, so you can have an early dinner or a late lunch.
