Bad service bad coffee had better service and coffee from a vending machine, there are so many nicer places with helpful staff not ignorant servers

Churros and chocolate for Sunday breakfast, what could be better. Very busy but found a table. Staff very helpful and friendly. Perhaps a good idea that we don't live in Madrid or we would be eating there a lot.
In non touristic places, valor offers good hot chocolate for fair prices. In this one they charge you more only because you are a guiri. Unfriendly staff. They wanted us to divide into 2 groups not to put together 2 tables.
I went here as supposedly they serve some of the best churros in Madrid. Wrong. They're poorly presented, the chocolate they are served with is terrible and the churros themselves aren't a lot of cop. Choose somewhere else!
Churros and chocolate are a must in Spain. Not the sugar/cinnamon coated ones we get here. These are just fingers of fried dough that you dip into the ganache like chocolate cup that goes with them. Order extra churros because you can't drink the chocolate....More

We stopped here for a quick afternoon snack and I ordered chocolate cake which came covered in an awesome chocolate sauce and a hot chocolate. My head was buzzing when I left but the chocolate was sooo good!!
