Head to Indian Aroma. We hadn't booked but the waiter quickly found us a table for two. Starters were good and came with some free poppadums. The chicken jalfrezi was fairly hot. We shared a curry but most will probably want one each. Very busy whilst we were there with tourists and locals alike.

Will say like if you want to have Indian taste wont disappoint you thats for sure. We ordered Paneer Makhni and it was alright, as said, good but not outside of... More

We were 5 people and a baby who went there . The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Loved the chicken tikka and palak paneer ... one of the best palak paneer I ever had in my life ... The ambience is wonderful too. Will definitely visit here every time we are in Madrid !

My first impression of the Indian Aroma was how pretty the decoration is. Other than that the service was perfect. I requested vegan options and they were kind enough to point out all the plates I could get, I got okra and I loved it with integral nan bread. A delicious dish!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to, hands down. They make it spicy and not too creamy. Everything from samosas through dessert was fantastic. We've eaten a lot of Indian in a lot of cities and this ranks near, if not at, the top. Great dinner. Also decent wine selection, peaceful interior and great service.

Since our colleague was eager to find vegetarian meals aside from salad in our third day in Madrid, we booked with Indian Aroma. Location is easy to find and is in city center. Food was delicious and were in good sizes. We ordered 4 dishes for five ladies and were not able to finish all. Mango lassi and the pistachios... More

With 4.8 out of 5 we booked up for dinner, and with it being just round the corner from the hotel it was a great location after a day of travelling and a couple of hours wandering around Madrid city centre. The food was excellent, however either the listing is inaccurate or we had the wrong waiter, but on asking... More

We like spicy an the foods was absolutely wonderful!! You can also ask to have your dish not spicy. We ordered Malai Kofta and it was superb as well as Channa Masala which was also great! Definitely recommended!

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
